I whistled a lot at work today -- mostly an off-key riff on Dire Straits Brothers In Arms. Dont ask me why -- thats just what was on the mental playlist. And despite that mournful inspiration, I whistled because I was feeling...
I am very un-happy with the change in quality of this company. I used to love this clothing outfitter; I almost bought from them exclusively despite the high prices because of the quality of the clothes. No more. I have had a run of poor quality ...
TA has look-good comfort, but rarely has anything new. by mlouise81 ,Nov 24 '06
Things we like:
Casual clothing that does not look like workout attire.
Mens' sizing (they have many items in tall sizes).
Great fabrics and colors.
Things we don't like:
They have the same things year after year with only a few additions. During this 2006 holiday season, they are offering a vest that I ordered & returned 7 years ago. (It's a women's holiday vest. Don't order it--it looks better in the photo than in person.) The outfits that I ordered for my husband 3 years ago are still available; there isn't anything different enough to get him now.
Related to rarely having new things, they do not close out their inventory. (i.e., there are rarely sales on last year's items, because they will be next year's items too.)
Women's sizing. Like many places, they have inflated their sizes. The smalls or 4s are often too large, which is ridiculous.
Since the TA carries good clothes, I recommend them with reservations. I wish there were an option between Yes & No!
Very bad customer service.... by cjlkc ,Mar 11 '09
After mailing back an item that was very very badly sized, they denied receiving the item and told me that they would only guarantee returns that were made using their mailing labels. Although on their web site it says:
" If you do not have your return address label, please send returns to:
The Territory Ahead Attn: Returns 8879 Union Centre Blvd. West Chester, OH 45069 "
Nowhere does it say that returns WITHOUT the label are not guaranteed. So I suppose that those in the warehouse are just free to take anything that comes in with that return address on it but not the "official" label.
So I am just SOL on a $90 shirt that was never worn even once because, even though I ordered the size I always wear, it was at least 2 sizes too large.
Very sketchy company. Plus, the items are overpriced to begin with.
