Magazine subscriptions are something that I cant seem to get enough of. An avid reader of non- fiction books and newspapers, I also have a weakness for certain magazines, with travel, politics, and hobbies ranking among the subjects covered by the ...

Seems like you cant swing a mouse around the web these days without hitting a magazine consolidator. To confuse matters even more, most have similar names and deals. The good news is that the deals are real at Magazine Values.com. You can ...

If there was a magazines anonymous, I would have to join. After all, I usually have at least 20 subscriptions per year. So, I am always searching for cheap ways to fund my habit. I had seen other epinionators recommend Magazinevalues.com as having low ...
So, you're probably wondering how this company can offer magazines less expensively than everyone else. You are skeptical. . . you remember what your Mom said, "If it sounds too good to be true. . .", well I had my doubts also, but I shall explain why...
to be honest I was skeptical, but all turned out as promised. I bought over 25 subscriptions for the office and home, most for 3 years plus, and actually bought perhaps 10 more subscriptions as gifts. The cost was ridiculously low, many bought during...
This place is great, I've bought 19 subscriptions for myself and as gifts. When they have promotional sales 40-50+ magazines can be had for 3.00-350 a yr! A whole year for the price of less than one issue! I looked all over the web and ebay but...
I wanted to give my boyfriend his favorite "Low Rider" magazine(one year subscription) for his birthday, but the magazine was expensive. $4.99/per issue. The price of one year subscription offered by the publisher is $35. the lowest subscription price I...
I've bought so many subscriptions.......both for myself and as gifts....I've lost track. I will say that I've never had any problems with these people and I'm very careful about scrutinizing who I do business with on the internet. If a merchant lets me...
Best Prices on Many Magazines by mcoley ,Apr 05 '04
While MagazineValues.com has the best price on several hundred magazines, better prices can be found on the majority of the magazines they sell. A quick check at the magazine price comparison site MagazinePriceSearch.com shows that you can find a better price on about two thirds of the magazines that MagazineValues.com offers. In addition, there are over 1000 harder to find titles that aren't available at MagazineValues.com.
How does MagazineValues.com provide such great prices? Sponsorship. When you buy a magazine through them, a commercial sponsor agrees to pay a portion of the price. In return, you agree to accept a number of commercial emails from the sponsor. Although I've ordered from them numerous times, I can't recall receiving any sponsor emails.
MagazineValues.com does run sales once in a while. They're usually around holidays, and include about 50 magazines for somewhere from $2.99 through $3.50.
The amount of time it takes to receive magazines is usually a month or two, which is comparable to other magazine sites and is not much longer than ordering directly from the publisher.
MagazineValues.com does not charge any shipping or delivery fees, and does not automatically renew magazines.
Don't get from here unless you know you won't need customer service by ed123456 ,Apr 19 '04
Not satisfied. Received different magazine than what I ordered. They said it was a publisher change and that the publisher wouldn't refund or credit.... I expect a company I order from to give credits or refunds... not the publisher. If a sales organization is to profit from the sale of a product and the manufacturer (or publisher in this case) won't ensure customer satisfaction, then it should fall to the seller (magazinevalues.com). Too bad they don't care about follow up sales... They sure are not getting mine and I wouldn't give them yours, unless you are willing to gamble to save a few bucks.
I have had a very unsatisfactory experience with Magazine Values. I had ordered a magazine subscription for my son for his birthday. I ordered it in July, my credit card was charged the same day, and as of Dec. 7, I still have not received one magazine!! I have emailed them several times, only got a response once, and it said they would look into it and let me know. They never got back to me despite more emails from me. I finally got fed up and called the magazine directly only to find out the order put in by Magazine Values asked that the subscription be started with the January issue!!! I am very unsatisfied, and still don't know whether I will actually receive this magazine. By the way, it wasn't a subscription for $2.99 or anything, this one cost me $19.99 for the year.
I ordered a gift subscription to "Insider Football News" in early July, 2004 at an exceptional price of $13.97. Unfortunately it proved too good to be true. As of Sept.15, the first issue of this weekly publication has yet to be received. As Magazinevalues.com 's automated customer service system refuses to check on this before a certain date (was 9/16, now they show 9/23/04) I contacted the publisher directly by phone. It turns out this magazine is in a "contractual dispute" with the provider. In other words, my money was taken and I will NOT be getting the magazine! I'm not sure if the fault lies with magazinevalues.com or the middleman who contracts between the publisher & them. HOWEVER, this same magazine (Insider Football News) is STILL being offered on the magazinevalues.com website.
