Cancelled a Christmas gift that showed up as in stock on the website. Offered no explanation and no apology, and no compensation. They were very slow in informing me of the cancellation, it took close to a week for them to tell me. They didn't inform me with an apology or with an email. They used Google Checkout and a 1 line reason for the cancellation: Item out of stock. Very poor customer service.

It took two days after the order was submitted for them to inform me that the item was on backorder. They are now saying that they will not receive the item for another four weeks. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, and I will be now lucky if I can give it as a Valentines Day present. Unbelievable.

I purchased a Seiko SNA414 and can not be more happy. The price was a steal and it arrived 1 day before Christmas. My brothers are so jealous. It came in the original box with three bookletts on how to operate the main functions. The watch even came wrapped on a pillow. If I'm looking for a new watch I would definitely buy it from Ashford. Thir price and customer service are excellent.

I ordered a Movado on Monday. They claim to have shipped it on Wednesday, UPS only showed billing information received. I called Ashford twice on Thursday to find out if there was a problem. I was told they would call me or email me an answer. I didn't hear anything so I called on Friday. When I called I was put on hold for five minutes, then sent into voice mail. I called back and was on hold for twenty minutes, their system continually tells you what number you are in line and how much longer it would be, I was finally the next customer to supposedly be helped and it sent me into voice mail again. I have no idea where the watch is, did it ship?? Christmas is only a few days away and I can't get an answer. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Good prices mean nothing without customer service.

I PURCHASED A FENDI HANDBAG FROM ASHFORD.COM. IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS THE STRAP CAME APART. SENT IT BACK FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. CAME BACK TO ME NO BETTER. I ordered two watches online from Ashford.com a few days before Christmas. I spent extra for the two day shipping. Ashford began calling my home number and emailing me to get credit card verification. I called their verification line two times and left the information. I emailed two times to find out where my order was. Today is Saturday, two days after Christmas and still no response from Ashford. I have not received the order,nor have they responded to my four messages.
This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced from an online store. I will not order from them again. The online store states " Get it December 24th". NOT SO! Don't worry about poor service, in my case it has been " no service ".
This company has the WORST customer service. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I have purchased items twice from them and both times the orders have been sent incorrectly. When I called to have the situation fixed, I was told there was nothing they could do to help me. I have never been so frustrated or treated as badly as with this company. This is definitely a buyer beware situation. You can get much better prices and services with other companies. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
