Details: Around seven every evening, a line forms outside Mifune, located near the Kabuki Cinema. These people know where to get good Japanese food at very good prices. Don't let the somewhat cold greeting at the door turn you away; the food is worth it and the turnover of diners is fast, so normally you don't have to wait very long. Try any of the tempuras with the wonderful miso soup. If you're hungry, the generous specials, which include sushi, soup, salad, and tempura, are a bargain at $14.
