This is a good basic camera. Plug it in to your USB port, install the software and away you go. The software supplied is excellent, giving you many programs with which to edit your video or still captures.

Pros: Easy to install and to connect thought a usb connector,
Cons: For me no cons against this camera.

Easy to intall, wonderfull software, it took me only 5 minutes to install and it was ready to go. wonderfull price only cost me $27.00 dollars and works just fine. It has a snap shot button on top and built-in Microphone, you dont need to purchase an external microphone just set the mic. setting on the pc and you are ready to go.

Pros: microphone - if you can get it to work.
Cons: Getting it to WORK!

I bought this as a middle of the road webcam...price was approximately $38 at the military exchange. Followed instructions to the LETTER and after a week of installing, uninstalling...tried to contact customer service to see what the problem was. Camera would connect, but the picture was just a jumbled mass of color. Seems customer service hours end at 5:30pm (M-F) only..which poses a problem to those who work days. Came home early one day, dialed for an hour an a half, got a constant busy signal...until 5:35, which a recording promptly told me they CLOSED at 5:30. Emailed technical support. No acknowledgement, or reply in THREE WEEKS. Took it back to the store, exchanged it for an "iContact", which cost $24...which took TEN MINUTES or less to install, and works beautifully.

the cord looks like it's more expensive to make than the camera it's self, but it does the job and for $15.00 that I paid for it at office depot when it was on sale could not have been beaten, I would buy this camera if I needed a good web cam to get on the internet, pictures are also good to take with this, get it if you need it.

Two things, it was tough to get it to work with XP, maybe that's my fault for not reading the box carefully. I did however find the driver I needed at their website, all in all that was a pain to install as the camera couldn't be connected the same time you install the driver...who knew? Second thing, its not heavy enough, the fresh cord out of the box keeps making the camera tip over...Maybe that will change with time...All in all does what I needed it to would recommend this.

Inexpensive but the cord weighs more than the camera and so the camera won't stand upright, the cord pulls it over. Very frustrating.

While being reasonably priced, I personally have had all kinds of conflicts with this camera. In some applications it works and others it doesn't. Also, if you misplace the CD that comes with it, good luck finding replacement drivers because I can't.
