Mono Sound, background noise

Pros: Easy to use and install. Crutchfield instructions excellent.
Cons: Plays monaural sound only background noise defect after 2 months
Although the radio plays stereophonic audio, this CD player plays the CDs in mono!

After 2 months, there is now a background noise in the audio. It sounds like a skipping CD, but only audible between songs and during quiet passages.

Crutchfield is giving me credit.
