Pros: Value and feature packed, direct drive, excellent professional quality sound reproduction, heavy [sturdy]. Cons: Brake mechanism unrefined, flimsy tonearm pickup, possible motor reliability issues.
The Numark TTX1 Turntable was not what I set out to purchase when I went looking for records and or a turntable. Having had great luck with the Panasonic [Technics] brand, I was hoping to get one of these babies, even an older used one, as I've ...

Pros: It's a serious step in turntable evolution and might well become the new industry standard. Cons: You'll miss it's features when you'll have to make do with SL1200 decks...
I went out to buy a set of Technics SL1200 decks, the current industry standard. In that process, I came across the TTX1 and have chosen to buy them instead. What won me over, was my hands on test with a beat and bassline tune on the one deck and a...

Pros: Stetically beautiful Cons: Lack of real spec's
1.-I just get a ttx1 turntable ($345) and a Cs1 Numark cartridge that needs 3 grams minimum to perform, but I don’t know: A).-Tractability of the tone arm: I mean, what is the range in which it can handle a cartridge and trace and reproduce accurately ...

numark ttx1
by blakcircle ,Nov 28 '05
Pros: these are outstanding tables if they work properly and don't need repair. Cons: If they fail and you have to contact numark, they are no help!
I love my ttx1's. All those added benefits are awesome and they really work. They are great and have been for just over two years. Now i have a problem that i'm concerned with! My table just stops mid play. no reason. just stops. I can get it to stop with some vibration now but it sucks during a gig to hear it winding down or recording. Im pi**ed at the way numark has handled this and the company they refered me to to get them fixed seems like a scammish shop. I could get into this more because i am an electrician and know a thing or two they tried to dumb-f#%k me. Im very frustrated at their pricing to fix and it sounds like i'll either be buying a new one or dropping numark all together and goin back to technic. I could go on and on but just wanted the world to know my plight and pleasures.

Hands Down the Best Pro Table on the Market
by hotmixbk ,Apr 08 '05
Pros: Interchangeable tone arms, battle style or club display, adjustable start/brake high torque DD motor,Key Correction Cons: The Key Correction is only average on songs with live drummers.
You will have a hard time finding a turntable with the features, tracking and versatility as the TTX. I haven't used my 1200's in almost 3 years. They out perform every other table out here. If you've ever had to replace a rca cable or tone arm on 1200's you can really appreciate this turntable as well. The pitch /- 8,10,20, and 50% is sickening. Not to mention the adjustable brake and start...(with out going inside the deck)One Serious Turntable...
