Pros: Sleek look, large 15" wide display, TOSHIBA quality. Cons: After 3.5 years of using it? None.
This review is written by a half computer illiterate. I will only review on my experience of shopping, deciding, buying and using this product, from a non-technical point of view. So here goes. Who Am I? I am a college student ...

Pros: Sleek, long lasting battery, great for the mobile user, quality and performance backed by Toshiba. Cons: At 1.4Ghz this machine is designed for the mobile user, not the hard-core gamer/or/graphics_designer.

Awesome laptop!
by jamwin ,Nov 22 '04
Pros: Well designed, a joy to use Cons: My model has no dvd burner
My first PC (if you can call it that) was a Timex-Sinclair with 1K of memory...and I've owned plenty since then.
This is hands down the best laptop I've ever owned. Big, clear screen, decent sound, perfect keyboard. For the large size it is reasonably light and the battery has decent life as well. Built in wireless is a plus.
Strongly reccomended, will not dissapoint.

Great for the first six months...
by nagempseudonym ,Aug 25 '06
Pros: very portable Cons: short life
When I first got this laptop I was amazed. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen and ran like a dream. I finally had a computer that didn't take hours to open up an application.
However, after six months of use I experienced my first, of many, problem. The hard drive was toast. Soon after that the scan disk card slot broke, followed by the modem, and then the screen broke off one day when I was turning off the laptop. After the replacement of the hard drive, the computer never ran the same again and started to take ages to load the smallest of files.
I would not tell someone not to get this computer, but I would tell suggest to them that if they were to get it they should also ensure they have a good warranty on it and know that it's being fixed by people who really know what they're doing.
