Pros: Looks great. Broils and Toasts just right. Cons: None
We checked out all kinds of toaster ovens and convection ovens and this T-Fal seem to be the best as far as what we read and the price we would pay. Though this is not a convection oven we felt it would still do a great job (maybe if we have had a ...

I LOVE this toaster !
by westgalady ,Dec 19 '07
Pros: will go to 500 degrees (most units do not) Cons: top warming area takes up room and doesn't work well for me.
I purchased this toaster about a year ago, and I have seldom had to use my regular oven since. Easy to clean, cooks to correct temperature, and has a nice glass front so you can check on food as it cooks. I tried the top "warming" unit a couple of times and the bread I put there burned on the bottom. We make cheese toast, casseroles, cookies, cornbread. Everything cooks evenly.
Has 1600 watts (more than most units), reasonable retail price for all the bells and whistles. Controls are SO EASY to use.

Safety Concern! Racks slide out on there own with hot food on them!
by kjmiller ,Apr 05 '07
Pros: Looks nice. Good timers. Easy to clean. Lots of accessories supplied. Cons: Steams up both glass doors while cooking.
I just got the toaster oven after reading lots of reviews. Since I have only had it for one day, I don't have a lot to say but I thought the safety concern was so important that I needed to post this ASAP.
We were toasting garlic bread on the baking tray and my husband said once he had pulled it half way out with the supplied tongs it started coming out by itself . I tried and it did the same thing. There is no safety catch to keep the trays from sliding all the way out. So if I was to try and roast a chicken, as it says you can, I would be afraid it will slide out, tip off and the food go flying off the counter and burn me on its way out. My instinct would be to try and catch it and end up getting burnt.

Love it so far...
by wordsmith91 ,Oct 10 '06
Pros: Warmer function, separate controls for each function, pop out crumb tray, attractive design Cons: Toasts over-aggressively, warmer and oven steam up which could cause electrical problems later.
Each of our last 3 toaster ovens have died within 2 years of purchase, so we have come to expect that we will not get what we pay for. We purchased this model because it seemed to have the best reviews for the best price. We have had this oven for 1 month, so I can't say how long it will last. It is, however, much sturdier and more solid than any of the other ovens we looked at, including more expensive models. So far it works beautifully. The oven, broiler and warmer functions have been completely hassle-free. Our only complaints are with the toaster function and the venting. The default setting of 4 turns innocent bread into cinder-like creations. Try 2 to start out with. Also, the oven and warmer steam up, which concerns us for later electrical problems. Other than that, the ease of use, good performance and solid construction, easy cleaning, plus the convenience of the warmer, have made us very happy so far.

Wore it Out to Soon!
by clobear9 ,Feb 19 '07
Pros: Even cooking
Large interior Cons: Warmer not practical
Not worth the money
We bought this oven 2 years ago and used it atleast twice a day. Loud beep every time you adjusted temp, time etc. Was nice to have a loud notice when food was done. Never used the top warmer, which got extremely hot to the touch, enough to burn. The buttons were tempermental, really had to push sometimes to make them work. The drawbacks were more than the pluses. Before this we owned a small black and decker toaster oven that worked just as well but lasted 6 years.
