Pros: Great sounding music will come out of these speakers. Cons: The 2.1 speaker feet.
This Boston BA 735 sound system came with my Gateway Performance computer. This multimedia sound system was fairly easy to hook up. You have one cable for the back of your computer and also a power cord that goes behind the sub woofer. The two 2.1 mini ...
Pros: Great full-range sound quality, longevity, space-saving size Cons: Definitely not a full-size stereo replacement, lack of surround sound (if desired)
I obtained the Boston Acoustics Digital BA735 2.1 speaker system with the purchase of a Gateway PC in 2001. They were an optional upgrade, along with a digital sound card upgrade. Since I greatly enjoy listening to music on my computer, this seemed ...
Pros: Nice sound.
Excellent bass from subwoofer.
Treble dial on right satellite. Cons: Requires digital output from speaker albeit being an analog connection.
Right speaker louder than left.
I bought a Gateway Select 1200 desktop 5 years ago and received these speakers with the system. So you can either look at it as $0 speakers or $2000 speakers...haha! They are advertised as being digital speakers, however they are not completely digital ...
Pros: Excellent quality 2.1 Speaker and Subwoofer set. Cons: No analog cable in the box, wobbly sub. Otherwise, nothing.
I had my first experience with Boston Acoustics speakers listening to my uncle's set that came with his Gateway computer about 3 years ago and I made sure that I got them with my new computer as well. An advertisement for a Gateway computer bundle caught ...
Pros: Clear rich sound, easy to manage, and good Range. Cons: Digital only speakers. A digital output sound card is a must!
The Boston Acoustics BA735 digital speaker system is a fine addition to any computer system for those not really looking for a huge wall thumping powerhouse. For those who are just looking for a small 2.1 system that can deliver smooth crisp bass with a ...
Pros: Great sound. Simple control of volume, treble, bass. Occupies a reasonable amount of space. Cons: Left channel volume is weak compared to right. Feet can fall off.
Like other reviewers, I got this system with the purchase of a Gateway tower. These days, I have the system connected to my Mac PowerPC. They have lasted for years, and remain the best sound system in my apartment. Overall, I'm very ...
Truly Long-Lasting and Awesome Speakers by antiguy1 ,Oct 30 '06
Pros: Very loud, small, easy to setup, durable, cheap. Cons: I can't think of anything.
I've had these speakers for about 8 years now and they sound as great as ever. They work with practically anything with a headphone jack, and the quality sounds just as good as any other speakers I've heard. They came with my Gateway computer, and although that computer is on life support in Safe Mode now, the speakers are still going strong. They are extremely loud with great bass and clarity and are very durable. Highly recommended, if you're looking for a great and relatively cheap 2.1 speakers, look no further.
Boston Digital BA735 computer speakers by pura9910 ,Jun 29 '08
Pros: treble/bass balancing knob, separate bass level knob on sub, VERY Durable. Awesome sound quality. Cons: none that I can see!
these speakers have great sound and are extremely durable. especially since they are my family's computer speakers for the past 3 years and still going strong. They have great bass and a treble adjustment knob. very good for someone who doesn't want a full stereo system.
Pros: Great sound, analog + digital inputs, clear sounding, long power cord. Cons: Dosen't always power off, sattelites easy to knock off.
I love these speakers. They provide great bass in a small package, and are in terms of tone, accurate when adjusted. Mine feature a built in AC-3 decoder which allows me to connect them directly to the S/PDIF port on my laptop and boy do they sound great. The low frequencies come out clear and powerful, the highs nice and clear. The midrange can be somewhat muted, but it is not really noticable. They also accept regular 3.5mm inputs of which I connect my iRiver H10 to. These are great speakers and a bargain when can be found at a good price. Great sound for a 2.1 set, and has a very long 6 ft power cord.
