RCA BLC524 5.6 in. TV

Pros: It WAS a cool idea.
Cons: In retrospect, I would have bought the Audiovox.

I strongly do not recommend this product to my worst enemy. The face of this beast started to split around the buttons and now has peeled away at parts, only after 10 months of normal use. When I confronted Thomson Electronics about it, they said "we ask that you assume responsibility for the service charges of the unit." That is just absurd. The thing starts falling apart within a year (under the warranty period) and I am asked to assume the costs to fix it. I don't even want it anymore. The thing looks cheap and cheesey and it gets worse everyday. I strongly recommend to steer clear of this product. If you do not believe be, take alook for yourself. This unit could be a great thing. We Have had it since last May (it is now February). We have had the front of the unit delaminate as well as the remote control. The buttons no longer work and we really would like a new unit to replace the old one but the company says that they will pay us for our old unit since they do not have any in their warehouse. EEEKKK. Now I cannot possibly replace this unit for what I bought it for, RCA does not make a new model that I know of and I am very frustrated!!
