Pros: Great sound quality for the money. Cons: Bugs/flaws makes one test the unit thoroughly before buying.
I bought an open-box demo of the T752 from a local dealer. A few thoughts first on what I look for in a quality audio experience. First, the amplifier section should state its true output power. Many receivers today are published with specs that say ...

Great Receiver
by walleyeguy45 ,Dec 21 '06
Pros: Great sound with all the features one could need Cons: non
Great sound without the bells & whistles. Absolutely no issues. My receiver has been bullet proof. No fan noise and no bugs at all. It is driving 4 ohm difficult speakers without problems. Well worth the money. My other system is a Linn so my standards are high and i do not profess that it equals the Linn but it is excellent value.

Don't buy

Pros: sounds great when it's not broken Cons: it's broken all the time
Me too, like so many others, had nothing but problems with my T752. Spent the whole 2 year guarantee period installing and uninstalling it, returned it 3 times (!) for different severe problems - repair periods of 2 months. At the end of its guarantee period (last week) I returned it - defect - again, and got a new T753 in return. Which I only accepted after a written money-back-if-defect guarantee. It's so frustrating, because the amp sounds awesome.

Dont buy

Pros: Sounds good when it works, ease of use Cons: Reliability, bugs
I would be very cautious when purchasing a NAD receiver. I just purchased a T752 and right out of the box I have no sub output in all modes except for 7.1 Matrix and EARS. I sound tested NAD and it sounds great, when it works. I read multiple reviews and came to the conclusion that in the early stages the 752 had a lot of bugs and the newer makes took care of the problems. When talking to the sales person about these issues he also noted there were a lot of returns on the newer makes. Ive read multiple posts about these being DOA, channels dont work, humming, hissing, popping...the list goes on. It comes with a 2 year warranty, be prepared to use it. The upgrades fix one problem but create another. I wont even use my warranty Ive had it 2 days and it will be returned for a Rotel.

No Problems so far
by gs300 ,Mar 20 '04
Pros: Great sound, simple functional design Cons: Needs external amp for than 5.1 setup
I bought a refurbed 752 from a local authorized dealer. Looked great out of the box, Couldn't see any scratches or use marks anywhere. It's been up and running for about 3 weeks now. No problems at all. Sound is very clean.
No problem with sub output, I have a 5.1 setup.
Setup is very easy using the OSD. Flexible options when setting up and saving particular listening modes.
The remote is a nice solid design and can learn other brands. I like it but will probably get a third party one, only because running a TV, cable, DVD, Tivo and VCR through it gets a bit difficult for me to remember which buttons do which.
For the money I am satisfied with this receiver.
