Pros: Many cool features, inexpensive, well supported firmware. Cons: Larger than most MP3 players.
I've used my PDA as an MP3 player for years now and occasionally looked at dedicated MP3 players but they were always too expensive for what they offered. Then I came across this lesser-known 20GB player on sale for $200. When you look at the other ...
Pros: tons of memory and lots of functions Cons: very bulcky
Intro The Neuros HD Mp3 player has tons of great capabilities. This mp3 player can do everything any other mp3 player can do as far as I know. When I went looking for an mp3 player I was looking for something that had a rather large amount ...
Pros: The must versatile player in the market. Cons: Size is the biggest problem, but it has it's advantages when it comes to upgradability.
I bought this player after reading up on all of its features. I must say I was impressed with everything included. I bought a "Bundle" which came with a 128mb flash memory "backpack" and a 20Gb hard drive "backpack" as well as headphones, a USB 2 ...
This is a great alternative for anyone thinking about buying an Ipod. I purchased my neuros almost a year ago, mainly deciding on 3 factors: 1: Price at $190 for a 20 Gig MP3 Player, this was a MUCH cheaper alternative to the IPod 2: Features: The ...
Pros: Good price for 20GB plus all the accessories that you get. Cons: Must be VERY patient with the buggy software
You get a lot for your money, package includes AC adapter, cigarette lighter adapter, USB cable, and headphones. Plus you get the built-in radio transmitter to let you listen to the songs on your Neuros on any radio. The software for copying songs from ...
Half-pound heavy -- LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! by hoppyguy ,Aug 11 '05
Pros: Many features Cons: Unreliable, heavy, poor tech support.
Have had a 20GB for about 1.5 years and have had HUGE amounts of trouble with it and Neuros. It's spent at least in their shop and a month in the mail. Even one of their tech support guys said he thought some of the components were curious choices (the player's connector, for instance).
Then there's tech support. (The following is NOT a compliment.) I've had experiences with Neuros tech support that I've not had anywhere else in thirty years ... and hope never to have again.
It's around a half-pound and feels heavier. Mine has had a hard drive failure, the player died and there have been many other problems. Tech support is unlike anything I've seen in thirty years and that is NOT a compliment.
My opinion/experience: Unless you're a total geek who loves constantly having to mess with your "toys," this is NOT the player you want.
