Danby Wine Cooler DWC044BLP
by phyziks ,Jan 08 '07
Pros: Attractive, sizable, volume (40 average sized wine bottles), inexpensive, lite (when empty) Cons: Often breaks after first year. Warranty for years 2-5 is awful.
This wine cooler has a good capacity for your average sized bottle of wine. It will keep the contents cool but not cold so don't think this will double as a soft drink/beer frig. Be prepared to replace this product soon after the first year of its warranty passes because the next four years of the warranty are not worth the hassle and expense to have it repaired when you can buy another one for almost the same price. I would recommend purchasing a more durable cooler.

No problems here
by hawgood38 ,Jul 31 '07
Pros: everything Cons: nothing
We've had our wine cooler for 3 years and it's worked like a charm. It's not made for beer or other types of beverages, but it's been great for wine. Easy to use and quiet. It's been a great place for us to store our wines.

Stopped working after 1 year.
by hotice ,Nov 06 '05
Pros: Good to use as a file cabinet when stops working Cons: broke after 1 year of use.
This made in China wine cooler is made from black plastic with metal/plastic holders inside. You can set the temp between 6-14 degrees Celsius or 43-57 Fahrenheit. Also includes a dim light inside.
The cooler is not cold enough for beer and can only be used for cheap wine. If you have expensive bottles of wine then I strongly recommend a wine cooler that will last.
I mean there is no point spending money collecting bottles of wine just to come home one day and find out the cooler stopped working and it's actually 9 degrees warmer inside the cooler then the room temperature.
This is exactly what happened to me. The wines went sour.
Thank you Danby
