Pros: Picture, sound, plays just about anything you throw at it. Progressive output, Quality.
Cons: The remote could be better. Backlite and maybe a zoom feature.
I've used this product for 6 months, and I've been nothing but happy. I bought the DV-C36 after lots and lots of research; the reason I decided to buy it is because it has the best combination of performance, quality, features and price. Since I have...
Pros: Plays every disc format known to man
Cons: Progressive scan chip is pretty poor
While just about any progressive scan DVD player is going to look better than interlaced playback, the progressive scan chip in the DV-C36 is pretty poor when compared to other available options. The picture quality on my DV-C36 is noticeably worse on...
Pros: Excellent video and audio on both DVD and CD. Cons: A zoom feature would be nice.

Pros: Good video, good sound. Cons: Short lived. Failed in 2 years
It was a really great player- while it worked. I was impressed with the sound and picture quality from the start. I do not have an HD setup, so I cannot comment on that but to my regular TV and speakers, it was very good. I used it probably once every week or two over the course of 2 years and then a month after the warranty ended, the laser failed.
Pros: pretty case Cons: remote, performance, service
You wold think a high end 500 dollar dvd player purchased 2 years ago would be friendly, (remote is horrible) and that it wouldnt pause during chapter changes, this one does! I even sent it in for service and it cam e back bad, so Im dumping it today on Ebay for whatever I can get, sometimes you dont get what you pay for.
