Great Gift!

by bfett25 , Dec 27 '00
Pros: endless fun for the spy mentality
Cons: black and white images, low res
I got this watch for Christmas two days ago, after hearing briefly about it through the grapevine and thinking, there's no way this thing will work. But I stand corrected and declare it one of the coolest thing's I've ever seen.

First...

A Near-Perfect Gadget

by hbj200 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Mar 02 '01
Pros: Camera works, even in dim light; easy-to-read LCD screen; many watch functions
Cons: Slightly too big; PC link must be purchased separately
The Casio Wrist Camera Watch is truly a gadget, and it deserves five stars for 1) working as promised, and 2) giving you a strong dose of coolness boost.

(Note: I have the stainless version of the Wrist Camera, model WQV1D-8CR, which not only...

The ONLY One

by amynb , Dec 01 '00
Pros: Just plain COOL
Cons: Could use better picture quality
OK. I really think that those who are complaining about this watch are expecting too much from a new technolegy. I have used this camera. I have one. I also have the PC link kit (please note usually sold seperately an extra $50).

The...

Take 100 half-decent shots of anything, all on a whim.

by garyduke , Dec 22 '00
Pros: take a picture of anything at whim; people are always surprised at the image quality when you show them the watch display; stores 100 pix on board, and beams to palm and desktop
Cons: you can't make an 8x10 out of pictures
In response to the previous review, many people have taken good pictures with the camera. See the gallery at www.camborg.com -- a site with a gallery dedicated to WQV-1 casio camera watch users!

This watch is one of the few breakthrough 'me...

Gadget Lovers Camera

by jbach36 , Oct 09 '01
Pros: Good pictures, considering the size and resoloution
Cons: no flash
Well, here I am again, reviewing another new toy in my collection (it seems I am a low-end digital cam collector/fanatic.

This time the new toy is the casio WQV-1-BNDL (what Sears.com called it, it's the black plastic (resin) version of the...

Picture This...

by lilnyc , Dec 08 '00
Pros: Unique;add photos to contact numbers; waterproof
Cons: Poor quality; no backlight
I bought this product because the online photos looked incredible and I needed a watch. Now I think that those Wrist Camera photos shown online must've been taken with a high quality digital camera and downloaded onto the Casio. I don't mind poor...

Sneaky Little Soandso

by ultramalcolm , Mar 08 '01
Pros: Picture quality less than film-perfect. Remember, though-it's a WATCH, for goodness sake.
Cons: A little bulky, which only attracts attention.
Having recently moved to NYC, I find myself constantly surround by peculiarities. Old men urinating in subways. Gigantic, obese women shouting at bags of garbage. Babies smoking cigars. Imagine my delight, then, at the Casio watch-camera.

Always there, but not enough detail

by krisjohn , Nov 29 '00
Pros: Portability can't be beat
Cons: No bundled connection kit adds $50 if you want to keep images
I've been using the Casio Wrist Camera for about a week now and I'd have to say that it's a great toy, and a wonderful tool for art, but don't expect any fine detail in your snaps.

I previously used the Gameboy Camera in a similar fashion --...
