Pros: SQ, Versatility, Usefullness- A Truly Spectacular Solution for Any Mobile HiFi application Cons: None- The time required to use properly is not a con. This unit is flawless!
I have to step back and laugh at alot of what I see going on in today's mobile audio market. In my opinion, so many people lose sight of the importance of excellent sound quality in their cars- you can spend tons on a home system, WELL JUSIFIABLY- ...

One of the BEST
by bfog99 ,Oct 16 '03
Pros: good SQ, strong, clean, and powerful Cons: needs a 10 gauge power wire directly to the battery
Alpine has been known for high quality decks that are strong and reliable. They are some of the best for sound quality, especially for the amount of power they put out. They have out done themselves with this one though. It is amazing. You can conrtol every aspect of your system with this deck. The 4 volt pre-outs are nice too, they send a clean signal to the amp so it doesn't have to work as hard. It does take a little bit to get used to all the options and to figure out how to make it sound just right, but well worth the time. I like the 2 line display. It is easy to read. I also like the blue buttons, it looks clean when installed. It does cost a lot retail, but you can find it cheaper online. One of the best decks I have EVER seen.

Pros: WOW! EVERYTHING IS GREAT! Cons: None
I bought this cd player a couple years ago. It has been through 4 vehicles, and now it is going in its 5th. I gave it to my dad when I joined the military, and boy was that a mistake and a half! After listening to a lot of different cd players trying to decide what to buy, I finally called my dad, to have him send it to me. Not many cd players have the features that this one has. It is simply the best! The fact that you can hook it up to stock speakers, and make them sound like high end aftermarkets is amazing. The sound quality is unbeatable! Alpine is not incorporating the bass engine pro into their decks, that I can find. Shame on them!

Pros: High powered built in amp.Separate sub-controls. High/Low crossover. Five-band EQ with adjustable width and frequencies. Cons: Many options to figure out; you will be able to fine tune for optimum sound.
This was definately worth the price. Everything you could imagine doing can be done from this headset. One of the best I have ever owned or dealt with. Alpine out did itself on this stereo.
