The Frog. . .not my only stroller but the only one I use

by gamom1boy1girl , Jul 25 '04
Pros: Versatile and lightweight
Cons: Two part fold and the price
At first glance, I knew nothing about this stroller, but I knew from the looks of it, I would not want to own it. . .I thought it was terribly ugly. . . boy was I wrong!I convinced my husband that we should try it out because it was so versatile. We ...

Worth it for city dwellers

by ejesmom , Dec 20 '04
Pros: Amazingly comfortable, incredibly durable and makes city strolling a breeze. Turning radius is incredible.
Cons: Accessories are expensive; still need a cheaper stroller for airports.
I researched strollers for a long time knowing that it would be the main mode of transport for my child. We live in the city and rarely use a car, so the stroller had to be comfortable and durable. (I personally think it is the only way to go if you ...

The Frog is great

by triswimmom , Jan 06 '05
Pros: Most versatile stroller in existence
Cons: Non... Well, it's a lot of $$$ but it's well worth it
When we were deciding what stroller to buy for our son, we knew that we wanted something that we can use since birth; something where he could sleep in a fully reclined position; and something that would accommodate our son's needs as he grows. Also, we ...

Frog, more like a toad.

by idaslevato , Jul 16 '04
Pros: Clean design, compact chassis , amazing smooth ride and spins 360 degrees on a dime.
Cons: Terrible storage. No cup/snack holders. Two-piece collapse inconvenient. Severely angled seat.
My husband wanted the Bugaboo, we already owned 4 other strollers so I wasn't game except she was getting heavy to push around with ease with a full stroller of gear on day outing. I was finally convinced once I pushed my toddler around the store ...

Expensive but a Smooooth Ride!!

by savvyshopper1 , Oct 18 '03
Pros: Comfortable foam handle, Converts into jog stroller, bassinet / pram, forward or rear facing)
Cons: Cost, Thoroughly read the directions and practice before you take the stroller out
I wrestled for weeks about whether to spend the enormous amount of money for this stroller. I went to three different stores, shopped online and read everything that I could find about the company. My son outgrew his carseat (at 7 months) and we hate ...

Superb versatile well made stroller. Great Investment

by franjellicca1 , Feb 03 '04
Pros: SO MANY PROS! Light, very comfortable, versatile, incredibly well made, nothing overlooked on this design.
Cons: Seat has to be taken off to fold down.
This stroller is a great investment. I wanted an every day stroller that was very comfortable for my baby and me, and a stroller that I could do power walking with. This stroller is both, plus more. The bugaboo is the most versatile stroller that I have ...

Just loving our frog!

by cottagegirl , Aug 05 '06
Pros: Turns on a dime, classic pram styling, high enough handle for tall father.
Cons: Useless sack that hangs underneath, doesn't hold much.
Get over the sticker shock. We've found our Bugaboo Frog to be worth every penny! It turns on a dime, is a smooth and comfortable ride, the bassinet doubles as a sleep-over bed when travelling with our new baby, and it is stylish. Even my mother, who ...

Worth the money!!!

by martje , Jun 29 '07
Pros: Includes a carry cot for newborns
Cons: really nothing, if you can afford it!!!
The Bugaboo stroller is a fantastic design!! It looks much more stylish and less bulky than all those other plastic strollers. What I also like about it is that the infant carry cot is included. Studies in Europe suggest that newborn should sleep in ...

Durable and maneuverable!

by babychris , Apr 28 '09
Pros: Durable, maneuverable, huge wheels, pram, adjustable, convertible
Cons: Expensive, color too dark - gets hot in summer, no cupholder.
Bugaboo Frog is the same as Chameleon, but the price is a little lower. My husband and I first wanted to go with the Chameleon because we liked the colors much better, but decided to save up some money and live with the blue Bugaboo Frog. It was a wise ...

We Love It !!! Totally happy with it !!!

by ihaveopinion , Mar 17 '05
Pros: booster seat function, bassient, easy to use, light-weight.
Cons: High price isn't a con, once you use it you'll see it's worth it.
After reading every review on the net about the frog and other strollers from maclaren to bertini, and almost all others, we ended up actually getting the frog. My wife was having a hard time with the price, and felt weird for a few days, but now, when ...

It's a great ride... but not great to fold and store

by leslieinboston , Jan 18 '04
Pros: Smooth ride, light weight, easy to push over rough ground.
Cons: Difficult to fold up, doesn't block direct sun in baby's face
I bought the Frog for the ride and the weight. I live in the city, in a 3-floor walk up. We have brick/cobblestone sidewalks and the Frog glides right over all the bumps and holes. It is incredibly easy to turn. It is also very versatile, as other ...

Raising the bar (so to speak) for strollers?

by marquischacha , Oct 14 '05
Pros: quality, style, user-friendliness and a wealth of options
Cons: price, and tires that lose air
First of all, don't buy this stroller if you're not OK with frequent stops to talk with with strangers about it. People love the Bugaboo or hate it, but all new parents seem to have an opinion about it -- an opinion they feel compelled to share. The ...

Frog: a lifelong stroller - but not for everyone...

by spett , Jul 24 '04
Pros: Smooth smooth smooth ride; sturdy; versatile; light
Cons: pricey; folds in two parts; expensive accessories
I live in NYC, and finally decided to buy my Bugaboo Frog after months of research over the web, magazines, forums, asking friends, etc. The bottom line? Expensive, yes, but you are strolling on an air pillow, no matter what terrain, the Bugaboo is ...

REALLY wanted to like the Frog, but I just don't!

by karonow , Jun 14 '05
Pros: Bassinet doubles as a bed for newborns. Drives like a dream. Looks super cool.
Cons: Lacking cupholder. Lacking storage. Lacking sun protection. No solution for baby between bassinet/seat.
No one wanted to like the Frog more than me! I'm a designer and was sucked into the awesome design and my husband promised me any stroller that I wanted. So I didn't have to worry about price. I read every review I could and the negatives seemed to ...

Great for city; for suburbs, not so much

by PirateF , Apr 18 '04
Pros: Versatile & maneuverable. Extremely well made. For city dwellers, it will be worth every $$.
Cons: Expensive; somewhat heavy; folding/unfolding makes it impractical for suburban living; sun shade could be bigger.
I had seen the Bugaboo Frog in a magazine and on Sex and the City and thought it was just the coolest stroller I'd ever seen. When I discovered I was pregnant with our second child, my husband and I decided that even with the $700 price tag, the Bugaboo ...
