Pros: Clean, sanitized dishes; extremely quiet operation; sexy, stainless steel exterior and interior. Cons: High up-front cost, and that's about it.
I used to have a dishwasher. And it washed dishes very well. I never gave it much thought. Then I moved – far, far away. My new home didn’t have a dishwasher and I thought “big deal…” Well, it was a big deal. After awhile, I realized that dirty ...
Pros: Quiet, efficient and effective Cons: Silverware basket is a little small but still usable.
When we moved into our new house, it had a low priced GE dishwasher. We always ran our dishwasher at night so that it did not disturb our family time. Our first night in our new home we set the delay and went to bed. The noise that appliance made was ...
Pros: Looks Great
Quiet
Adjustable shelves
Doesn't leak onto the floor when it fails to drain. Cons: Wash options confusing
Stops working after a couple months.
Unfortunately we have had a terrible time with this dishwasher. After doing quite a bit of research online and at major appliance stores, we landed on this Bosch as the best combination of features (size, running noise-minimal, stainless steel ...
Pros: looks nice Cons: doesn't get dishes clean without COMPLETELY rinsing them first
I did lots of research trying to find the best dishwasher- meaning the one that cleaned dishes the best. This one was rated number one in consumer reports-who use baked on brownie to rate how clean machines get dishes, Bosch of course claims to make ...
Pros: Quiet, efficient, cleans well Cons: No issues so far.
We bought this two months ago to replace a piece-of-trash KitchenAid (reviewed elsewhere). So Far, So good. Very quiet except for a "gurgle" when it drains.
Since we usually scrape and rinse dishes first, we use the "Optimizer" alternative that reduces cycle time by about 1/3.
The machine cleans very well using very little dishwasher soap. Glasses come out sparkling (needs rinse-aid).
There is no heat drying cycle. Rather, the contents are sprayed with very hot water (there is an option to heat that water first) and they flash dry to the cooler steel interior walls. Accordingly, the lower rack can also be used for plastic and other items. However, plastic items sometimes need additional towel drying.
There is a manual filter that traps food and other large particles that needs to be removed and cleaned occasionally. While some would prefer an automatic filtering system, I suspect this is more reliable. The process is easy and takes less than a minute.
The silverware basket, while small, can be moved anywhere in the dishwasher which helps to make space for large pots, etc.

Pros: They are not any pros according to our experience Cons: This dishwasher is constantly breaking.
We unfortunately bought a Bosch dishwasher several years ago and have had huge problems with their (Circuit) board. We now have had 4 boards (replaced at huge costs last Novemeber we spent 350.00 on another board and its now March and the board is out again and it will cost us another 170.00 for labor. Its unbelievable. That will cost us 520.00 in just under 6 months. NEVER AGAIN. We are telling everyone we know not to buy a Bosch. My sister had two put in her new home and she has the same problems.
