I purchased this surge protector a while back to protect my Dell computer. I chose it based on brand and joule rating. It had the second highest joule rating of all the suppressors I looked at. It works well and has many cool features that I wasn't expecting. It has a low profile, swiveling plug end, sliding outlet protectors, dual phone line splitters/surge protectors, and a cord holder to keep the cords neat. It also has three outlets designed for large, block style plugs(more spacing between outlets). Two of these large outlets are unswitched, meaning you can have your surge protector turned off, but you can still use your desklamp or fan. The products connected can be worth and unlimited amount of money, and if they fail due to power surge, they will pay for the products. Belkin also has a data recovery warranty, where they will try to recover your important data if your computer is hit by a surge. Overall a great product!
