I am usually not the type of person to purchase something from an infomercial. However, in the case of the GT Xpress 101, I just couldn't resist. The infomercial made it look so appealing, particularly for a single person.

It took several weeks for the product to arrive but it was worth the wait. I've used it almost daily for the last four weeks. The recipe booklet that it comes with really helps for when you are first starting out. After that, it is easy to improvise your own recipes. Plus the free gifts (flavor injector, pocket maker, and mixer cup) also help with creating new meals.

The unit is compact and is easy to store. It throws off very little heat which will be a bonus in the summer months. It is also fairly easy to clean even though the cooking plates are not removable.

Over all, I would recommend this product for a family of one or two people. It's a good deal for the money.

I seasoned the GT Xpress 101 as per the instructions. I turned it off to let it cool a bit, then plugged it back in and now nothing happens.

Great way to use take out leftovers (or home leftovers). Cooks fast and simple to use. Good way to make small portions of desserts from full sized mixes.

I eat out a lot and this appliance might change that! Very easy to use.

Exactly as advertised. When first removed from the box the cooking chambers look way too small but, in fact, they are plenty big. Two thumbs up!

Cons: Take care or it may stick a bit. Use a liner if need be.

Having had some of the sticking problems that others have had, we use mine now mainly for wraps and half-pita sandwiches for which it works wonders. And also we use it for muffins including corn muffins.

When you are going to cook something that may stick, we line the cavities carefully with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray - seems to do the trick. I imagine if you use the really thick foil, you could form it to the cavity shapes and reuse it many times over.

As a retired couple, we use ours about once a week or more. It is perfect for eliminating excess food leftovers which is a hard thing to do as we were a 6 person family before the kids left.
