Pros: Stevie Ray and the boys at their blues best! Cons: TOO SHORT! I want more of this stuff - it's gold.
Martha and Jimmie Lee Vaughan gave the world a musical gift. Well, two actually - sons Jimmy and Stevie Ray. brother Jimmy Vaughan was a founding member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Born on October 3rd, 1954, Stevie Ray Vaughan died on my birthday in ...

Pros: Great playing and blues feeling Cons: Some songs sound much like some others
The title track to this record got me interested in the ferocious blues guitar of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Actually, it was the video on MTV, when they played videos all day and night. Stevie was playing, in some funky looking goggles, in a driving...

Pros: Brilliant! Cons: none
Great cd! Vaughan is the best R&B player since B. B. King! He plays and sings from the very depths of his soul. Listen to this cd and just TRY to keep from moving and tapping your toes, bobbing your head or beating the rhythm on a table! There are 13...

This cd starts off with "Scuttle Buttin'", which lasts one minute, forty-eight seconds, and I think would just by itself justify this cd's purchase. It's almost to obvious to say, but no one could play like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble...

Pros: Are you kidding? Everything about this album is a pro. Cons: SRV is no longer with us. May he rest in peace.
So I had this gift certificate and I wanted to get a cd. I spent well over half an hour deciding what to buy. First I checked out the selection and then chose which one I wanted the most. Well, I chose Stevie Ray Vaughan's Couldn't Stand The Weather...

Pros: Every track smokes! Cons: Are you kidding...
Stevie Ray Vaughan was, and through the technology of of today, is and will always be the standard that guitarists are measured for many years to come. His free flowing style, his melodic tempos, and his mind blowing creations (as well as his...
