Polk Audio R10 Main / Stereo Speaker

Pros: Price, Price, and Price. Oh, yeah, and the sound is decent.
Cons: The sound is only decent. Much better speakers available for $100 more.

Polk Audio is gaining a reputation for making good speakers at affordable prices. Recently, Polk had a particularly impressive achievement, when their RT25i received a rave review from Stereophile magazine.

Cons: Tweeter is too directional, not the best

I am using the R10s for my Left and Right speakers on my DTS 5.1 surround system. I like the way they sound. Yes, there are better speakers out there, but for the price they were worth it. I also have some RT 15i speakers that I am using for my computer speakers.

These small speakers when paired with a subwoofer will absolutely surprise you with their quick response and lifelike highs. The r10's are still small enough and light enough to hang on the wall.
