Pros: Excellent SQ, 13 band graphic EQ, HP/LP crossovers, good control of subwoofer. Cons: Slight delay when changing FM/AM stations. Otherwise, NONE.
This head unit has great sound quality. One of the best things about it is that it has many tweakable features like a thirteen-band EQ, and it has two custom EQ presets, along with five that pioneer made. One custom preset can be used for cd's, and the...
Pros: Many useful features such as a 13-band graphic EQ. It also has 3 sets of 6.5 volt RCA pre-outs Cons: There are no RCA inputs
I recently bought the Pioneer DEH-P900r. After months of waiting for my head unit I finally got it. I had every single part of the system except the most important part! When I first turned it on my eyes lit up as the amazing Organic EL display showed...
This is to tell everybody that this set is simply the best in it's class & gives a very rich look to the car one has. Altough it is a bit on the higher cost side. The display is really the best and as everybody is aware that Pioneer is...

Pros: Chock full of ammenities. Good wattage for regular speakers. Awesome EQ. Cool display. Cons: Cheesy remote, buttons and setup not for the novice.
Bought the unit for $500 in Summer of 2000. Replaced my older Alpine headunit and Pioneer graphic EQ with this unit. As usual Pioneer Premier is top notch! Tons of features, one of the first organic EL displays ever made. Built in EQ was a pleasure to work with. Built in Auto-EQ is better suited for stock stereo speakers. High voltage RCA outputs were a nice bonus. Owned until Nov. 2002. Sold car with headunit in place, still running strong as of today.
Only complaint was the buttons on the remote weren't easy to make adjustments with. Needed more useful buttons. Didn't like preset buttons that doubled as function buttons.
