Expensive Extras For A Cheap Price

by mom2knlna , Jul 09 '00
Pros: easy to use, long battery life, lots of extras
Cons: remember to put it in red eye reduction!
When my old camera got broken, I went camera shopping expecting to not be able to afford a decent camera for under $150. I wanted a camera that had some zoom and a date imprint on the photos. I could not find both of these options on any camera....only...

My favorite camera, and I have a bunch of them!

by jadah , Jun 17 '02
Pros: Small, easy to use, takes great pictures
Cons: Sometimes tricky to load the film
With a 20 month old niece, I have had reason to take a lot of pictures. Understand this, I am someone who used to laugh about people who were limited to using a point and shoot camera. I carried a 2 pound Minolta with three different lenses in a bag only...

by macgyver24 , Jun 24 '01
Pros: Lots of features in a small package
Cons: Won't remember your settings between shots
What's hot
This is quite a neat camera. 35mm film format. It's small, but not so small that you're not sure if you're still carrying it or not. The zoom feature is quite useful and you have to be careful you don't use it too much or the...

Bought more worries than good pictures.
by raghuprakash ,May 10 '04
Pros: Looks sleek
Cons: Not worth the money I paid for.
Ever since I bought this camera in 1998, I have had series of problems with this camera just as it crossed the Atlantic Ocean. First I had problems with film loading. Then the camera will rewind the film on its own. I spent several man-days visiting service centers and even after the most recent expensive repair, the film advance mechanism does not work proper.
