Sleek, Stylish, and Sounds Great

by dna13 , Jan 20 '00
Pros: 40 seconds anti-shock memory, 25 Hour Playback, Backlit LCD, Sleek Silver Casing, and it's made in Japan.
Cons: You have to press a button for the anti-shock feature. Stock headphones are weak.
This is a great portable cd-player at a great price. For only about $70 you get a cd player that comes with a car cassette adapter, a car power adapter AND an ac adapter for use with a power outlet. The headphones are basic stock quality, meaning it's...

This use to be my discman...well..it still is

by kazey , Jun 26 '00
Pros: sounds great, comes with a car kit, cheap, battery life
Cons: skips more then expected without anti-skip, volume control, headphones
Now that I bought an md player, my cd-burner and this discman pretty much become obsolete. My dad will yell at me for buying this on boxing day..but oh well.

This discman is great. First of all, it's CHEAP. I got mine for 120$ canadian...

Great player, but...

by Doc503 , Apr 14 '00
Pros: Unyielding anti-shock, good sound provided you don't use included headphones, good battery life
Cons: Headphones, buttons
This was the first portable CD player I had ever bought. I chose Panasonic because their electronics had been reliable and for some reason the fact that the majority of their products are made of Japan makes me feel a bit more secure about buying them....

The Sound of Music!!!!

by lawwin , Dec 17 '99
Pros: Wonderful sound. High quality product with excellent portability. I just slip it in my purse or backpack and go.
Cons: Car cassette adapter does not work with Toyota factory systems. I was told that by Panasonic Customer Service. Needs Sony Car Cassette Adapter available at Wal-Mart.
I love this product. It works incredibly with my headphones and my car stereo system. It has excellent bass and wonderful sound at any volume. This CD player really works wonderfully and has high quality sound and electronic components. The only...

An Excellent choice

by SpencerG , Jan 25 '00
Pros: won't skip, backlit LCD screen, long battery life
Cons: not water resistant
This portable CD player has 40 seconds of anti-shock memory generation 2. In other words it will probably never skip. The included car kit is great if your car does not have a cd player and the backlit LCD screen makes it easy to use at night. It is...

SL361C not too shabby

by Andy_R , Jan 25 '00
Pros: 40 second anti-skip, button spacing
Cons: display, headphones
The best part of the CD player is the 40 second anti-shock memory. On a car trip the CD player flew off the seat and onto the floor a couple of times, yet it did not skip. I put it in the pouch of my hooded sweatshirt I wear walking to class and it...

You want this one!

by mr.mikey , Jan 17 '00
Pros: Its affordable, great quality, great sound, good for everyday living
Cons: skips when you drop it
This is the one you want to buy. Especially for the price! I practically looked everywhere on the web for a cheap price on this and I finally found one. I see people getting it from $100 to $160. I got mine for $63.99 at www.gotitdirect.com. Go...

Compact, but flimsy

by WesToews , Jun 05 '00
Pros: Battery life, sound, accessories
Cons: flimsy, will probably break with a hard fall
I bought the SL-S361C so I could bring my music with me, listen in the car, or at home while working. If you want a really rugged CD player this is probably not for you. You'd be better off with a player from the Shockwave series (also by Panasonic)....

music to my ears...

by marmango3 , Mar 16 '00
Pros: provides great sound, skinny and inexpensive,
Cons: skips when you touch/move it
I recently decided to join the rest of the world in the wonderful technology of cds. I knew I would be spending a lot of time commuting in my car and decided a new set of midrange speakers and a quality cd player were accessories I needed. I searched...

by jamest , Feb 22 '00
Pros: Good sound and small
Cons: none
I got the Panasonic CD player a few months ago and I've been happy with it since. I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. It's forty second skip protection is more than adequate. The sound quality is very clean and crisp sounding. It...

Good Light Duty Use

Pros: easy to use, good quality sound
Cons: a little pricey
I am very pleased with my purchase of the Panasonic SL-S361C portable CD player. I have not had any problems with the anti skipping or scratching my cd's. I use it for light duty things...walking, bike riding, yard work, etc. The sound quality is very...

Fair price, but bad quality

by gwar , Dec 27 '99
Pros: Light, Free Jogging Case, Thin
Cons: Skips, Scratched CD's, Cheaply Constructed
I purchased this cd player from a local retailer because I wanted a good CD player that I could take jogging with me. This model came with a free jogging pouch and claimed it was specifically for jogging, so I purchased it. Well when I first took it...

Sounds good feels horrible

by aslansford , Feb 05 '00
Pros: Average for a CD player
Cons: Tends to remove cranial appendages
This portable CD player is average in it's function and quality. The ESP is great because it won't skip for nearly one minute. I shook mine vigorously for 65 seconds before it skipped.

But the thing that makes this portable cd player so...
