Great mid-range camera

by JerrySanDiego , Oct 10 '00
Pros: simple, great pics, change lenses underwater
Cons: a little pricey
I bought this camera 3 years ago because I just couldn't describe how beautiful it is underwater to non-divers. I have the MX-10 w/strobe, 20mm lens and macro lens. The pictures are unbelievable!!! They are almost as good as the $3000 Nikonos setups...

Using for years. Very water...
by jamie_dt3001 ,Dec 19 '02
Using for years. Very water tight even down to 150 feet. sinks slowly if dropped thus easy to catch up with if sinking. Beautiful pictures. Easy quick change of film on boat inbetween dives with quick wipe down. No nooks and crannies to catch water in to accidentally run into your camera bocy when changing film. Always remember to open camera housing with lens pointed up. There is a second door to protect your film while changing batteries. I have used it for years and will continue. I keep the O ring lubed regularly and I have not needed to change the O-ring in 7 years. It is still in great shape.
