Yes, it is Perfect.

by AVaddict Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Oct 22 '01
Pros: Excellent response, amazing punch, built like a tank, very good looking, good warranty
Cons: None that I can see
Please Note:

This is the second part in my overall car stereo review. Yes, I mean my car. This was one of the many parts that work together to make this stereo one of the best I have ever listened to, competition or no. This...

Still one of the best subs under $300

by ben_james , Nov 08 '06
Pros: Versatile, excellent sound quality, Plays lower than most other subs, Handles copious amounts of power
Cons: It been superseeded, it's power hungry, won't play as loud as a dedicated SPL sub
*note,This sub has recently been superseded by the VQ series* Now... I wasn't going to write a review on this sub, seeing as so many people have commented on it already, BUT... I just have to tell every body who is looking at comparing this sub what ...

Yes... I did just crap myself... those are quite incredible!

by biscuitfarmer Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Nov 04 '06
Pros: excellent sound quality, last forever, hit hard
Cons: Push air really hard and require some box modifications to eliminate rattle.
I am a huge car audio enthusiast. Ever since my first car back in 1997, I have been trying to push the envelope on what my vehicles can do. My very first car, a 1995 Mustang started out with the most simplistic of sound systems, featuring a floating ...

The Best Sub Under $300

by csprague , Dec 07 '00
Pros: Sound Quality, Performance
Cons: price, but maybe not!
My car, like most cars out on the road today, had a rather horrible stock sound system. So I decided to upgrade. Now many kids today, when they get subwoofers for their cars, don't care how it sounds, as long as it's loud. They want "thump"....

Unambiguously upshot

by Acarian , Jul 22 '01
Pros: Solid performance, crisp and clear sound output, Will not fuzz out.
Cons: Sometimes hard to find, but not usually.
The Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 subwoofers surely live up to more than I had bargained for. I bought a pair of these from a friend, although they were a few months old, I have still have not located any flaws whatsoever as of now.

So what...

Perfect lives up to it's name

by drdoug99 , Dec 11 '00
Pros: Looks. performance, quality
Cons: Nothing
The Infinity Perfect is a very highly regarded subwoofer. It's very nice looking, and sounds excellent. I have a JBL 600.1 hooked up to it, giving it 300 watts, and it has nice tight bass, and gets extremely low also. I've been into car audio for about 2...

Can ELEPHANTS HEAR YOU COMING!?

by GustavusShaw Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jul 01 '01
Pros: Great low end extension and overall sound quality. High power handling and low distortion.
Cons: It could have handled about 350 more watts RMS, just joking! 350 is extremely adequate.
The scientific world says that certain species of animals can hear extreme low frequencies of 18HZ and lower. Some emit these low frequencies for communication purposes and others to startle their prey before striking a fatal death blow.

Great all around sub

by adam728 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Feb 28 '01
Pros: Great sound, plays low and loud. Looks beautiful
Cons: No longer as advanced as when it was introduced
These subs play VERY low in a sealed box, and have the ability to put out pretty impressive levels of bass. I installed one of these in my friend's Sunfire running off an Infinity Beta Digital 100 (400 x 1 rms) amp in a 1.25 ft^3 sealed box. She just ...

Perfect sub for a perfect price!

by seraph518 , Jul 17 '01
Pros: Hits hard, no distortion, smooth sound, exceptional power handling!
Cons: none.
As far as I'm concerned, the Infinity Kappa Perfect is the best subwoofer out there for under $300. I don't doubt that it could hold it's own against some of the more expensive ones too!

As far as how they perform... I've got mine mounted in a...

Perfect......Oh yeah!

by princethunder , Feb 20 '01
Pros: Sound, Power Handling, Appearance
Cons: None
This sub is by far the most impressive sub I have ever heard in a car that costs under $500. One of my friends has 2 12" hooked to a RF bd1000 and he is pushing 145 db at competitions. I only have one 12" hooked up to a RF 360a2, giving it near the...

Cons: None.
This is a revision to my first review of this subwoofer. I have now had this sub for over 3 months, so now i can write a real review.....

The Infinity Perfect 12 is a big, heavy and downright impressive looking sub. From its Aluminium/ceramic...

One word... "Slammin"

by jdowns_slidell , May 11 '01
Pros: Hits hard and not very expensive for the quality you get
Cons: The 96db rating is an in-car test
I recently sold two Rockford Fosgate 10's and a Kenwood 12 in hopes of upgrading my bump in the trunk. So I looked around and I found the Infinity Perfect 12. The price was set at $219 and I was convinced that I would hit hard with just one. I bought one...

Best Bang for your Buck

by dissnshun , Feb 13 '05
Pros: Power, Hits hard, Clean bass, price, basically everything
Cons: none that i can think of
These subs are simply amazing. For $200 a pair (bought on ebay), I don't know where you can find better subs. I currently have two of these subs hooked up to a jbl bp1200.1 amp and they POUND. I've heard many different subs that my friends have ...

Kudos To Infinity (Perfect Sub)

by ardell , Mar 12 '04
Pros: Price,Performance,Construction
Cons: None with the sub, Infinity no longer makes amps.
I recently purchased the Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 from Crutchfield. I can honestly say that they are the best subs for the money. The price on one sub was $199, which I know is a little steep (you can find them for as little as $119). Crutchfield did ...
