The 1660 offers a good value for it detection. The Whistler Company offers many features in it product but some not worth the price. This is one the many detectors in or above the middle class of detectors. This includes Cobra, Uniden, and Escort.

very effective, drove 3000 miles in 5 days encountered all radars and lasers. very sensitive to k bands. instant laser and vg guard too.

Just as good as the Bel or Valentine One. BUY IT! I drive for a living and never ever got a ticket with this unit. X, K, KA detection is very good.
