Cobra ESD 6050 Radar Detector

Pros: very good performance for a low price
Cons: none except it does not protect from police with deactivated radar gun or aircraft :-)

Pros: Very easy to use. Works good for many types of radar guns.
Cons: Does not pick up newer laser guns, POP or some frequencies of radar guns.

This worked pretty well when I bought it many years ago, but radar guns have changed to laser guns and this doesn't pick up many of them.

It worked good while it lasted, but it's too outdated to be useful now. Cobra is also one of the worst performing radar detectors on the market, except for Rocky Mountain. Just look at any unbiased reviews.

As much as I hate to spend the money, it looks like I'll be going with an Escort or Bel unit soon. They are consistently the best on the market.
