24099 Headset

Pros: Nicely padded earpiece. The user notes good sound quality.
Cons: Poor microphone quality. Slightly tight for big headed people.

I got the AT&T 24099 headset to plug into my new Panasonic cordless phone so that I could enjoy hands free operation. The headband felt slightly tight on my big head but overall with its nicely padded earpiece it felt alright. The sound coming through the earpiece was also good. The real problem came to light whenever I would attempt to call up one of my friends using the headset. "What is wrong with your phone?" would be her typical response. I would then remove the headset and she would say "thats better." I couldn't fool her as each time I answered using the headset she would notice and make me remove the headset. I eventually gave up and got a Panasonic headset to go with my Panasonic phone and now no one can tell that I am using a headset. I did not try the AT&T headset on any other phone so it is possible that it would work better on an AT&T phone.
