Pros: Huge Display, Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, Desktop Power Cons: Considerably larger and heavier than most laptops
Ok, here's the deal... I've always liked the concept of the laptop computer. I used my home computer a lot, so the idea of being able to use it anywhere intrigued me. Unfortunately, laptop computers have a habit of being too expensive, or too weak, or...

We purchased the Satellite 1955 S801 in October 2002. We had problems with it immediately. Fortunately, it was not our only one -- we still had our desktop. It is by far the most unreliable notepad ever made, in our (mine and my husband's) opinion. It ...
I don't want to mislead you but I bought my 1955-s801 and it was shipped with the wireless mouse that never worked from day one. Also it had a crack in the plastic outer console beside the keyboard that got bigger. Now, it is on my shelf, I am unable to...

Pros: Large screen, fast CPU, wireless removable keyboard, lots of ports, large hard drive Cons: Weight.
This laptop is extraordinary and I am now using it as my primary computer while my expensive HP Desktop sits idle. I love it, it performs at lightning speeds, has outstanding sound and video quality and runs all applications effortlessly. It has everything I need and then some including a huge 16" screen which comes in handy for playing DVDs. The only downside at all is the weight, but after carrying 16 lb bowling balls all my life, that doesn't bother me in the least.
