this product is excellent for newborn to about 6 months. After that, your baby is too big to lay down and too small to sit up. It is awkward in the sitting position, my baby cried the whole time. I am trying to find a bigger tub so he can have room to kick and splash.. there is no room in this tub.. in fact from the time there wasnt much room to splash, I have to constantly remove excess water because it fills up fast when you are rinsing baby.

I received this as a gift and I used it for about 3 months. The no slip pad and plastic bottom are extremely slippery, my baby would slide right down into the water if I didn't have one had behind his back holding him up the entire time. Sometimes you need two hands to wash a baby,and I would constantly have to hold him up so his head didn't go under. It is also way to small, my baby's legs would be scrunched against the end wall of the tub, and when he got older he was able to push against it and push himself almost out of the tub. Don't get this. I am getting a different one today.

This tub was perfect at first but as soon as my baby could bear some weight on his legs he started pushing himself and almost flipped it over.

When my son was a newborn, this bathtub seemed to work alright. He slipped down quite a bit but I didn't think that was a problem. As he got older, we tried the sitting up position. What a joke! It sat him up alright...enough to make him fall over because it sat him forward TOO much!

I was lucky enough to have two bathtubs given to me at my shower. This one didn't work well for me when my child was small. It was slippery and was not easy go give her baths when she was young. However, I began using it when she was 9 months old. It worked out ok when my baby sat up well on her own. I kept using it until she was 11 months old. She began too big for it, she would scrape her legs on the seat bar. I would not recommend this product due to the slippery bottom.

Our bath came apart while i was bathing my son. His leg got pinched between the bath and base. I'm glad I didn't by it, it was given to me and I gave it to the trash.
