by wlswarts Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Aug 21 '08
Pros: Good enough location, Decent sized room, Amenities
Cons: No grounds, No free breakfast, Smelly from the casino and hallways, Lousy television options
For the last three years, I have gone to Las Vegas, Mecca of "Star Trek" fans for the largest domestic "Star Trek" convention of the year, where I set up as a dealer of "Star Trek" merchandise. Those who read my reviews know that brand loyalty is ...

Casino issues

Pros: clean, decent buffet, bingo
Cons: distance from strip, misleading on rewards and points, lack of communication, several rude workers
We recently went to Las Vegas. It was recommended to us to stay at Terrible's Hotel. Although we ended up staying at a different hotel, we decided to visit Terrible's Casino to check out what we missed and maybe come back on our next visit. First, I ...

Pros: good priced buffet and friendly employees
Cons: too far from the Strip
We visited Terribles Hotel and Casino twice while we were in Vegas last month and we were very happy with our experience there. Terribles is located on Paradise Avenue, quite a ways from the Strip. It was a 5 minute cab ride from the Strip, we could ...

Nice place off The Strip

by Relaxed , Mar 28 '05
Pros: Great food for the price, good time in the casino.
Cons: Casino staff not as friendly as others.
We were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel down the street, when a cabbie mentioned to us that we might want to give Terrible's a try. She told us about the Bougainvillea Cafe having excellent food at great prices, and a casino that generally played better ...

Excellent value (but more convenient if you have a car)
by desertvarnish ,Nov 08 '04
Pros: Inexpensive, convenient to Strip, well-equipped rooms, excellent value, low-key
Cons: Rooms above casino can smell like cigarette smoke, not themed like Strip resorts
Terrible's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas is a great value. The rooms are large (larger than your average Holiday Inn or Motel 6) and well-equipped.
My room included the following:
-2 Queen beds
-1 27" TV w/cable, Pay-per-view and pay-to-play Nintendo game system
-coffee maker
-alarm clock
-desk
-round table
-two occasional chairs
-large window (that actually opens!)
-A/C
-bathroom with shower/tub combo
-toiletries (shampoo, body lotion, bar soap)

The casino is small but it's oriented towards locals and low-rollers so it's a much less expensive place to gamble than the resorts on the Strip.

There is an inexpensive, average-quality buffet upstairs. The Bougainvillea Cafe upstairs is a 24-hour coffee shop and it's pretty good.

There is a large central courtyard w/pool--it looked nice and was nicely landscaped but we didn't use it.

The only drawback is that because the casino is small it is very smoky and if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke make sure to request a room that is NOT above the casino as smoke seems to seep into those rooms from below.

buffalo bills
by pahrump ,Mar 26 '08
Pros: This is a fun place to bring our kids, with all the entertainment and such.
Cons: Not too clean, not like before, service going down hill
I am sorry to say that our stay at buffalo bills was not good. it seems that the casino is going down hill. For the past five years we always stayed at buffalo bills casino and this stay was the worst, the rooms smelt bad ,like B.O.,the staff was not in a happy mood.while playing at the hanging tree bar we smelt sewer smell then a big roach climbed on my arm we decided to move to the other bar by the stage it wasn't any better the smell was bad too.the next morning while getting ready for breakfast, housekeeping just walked in on my girl friend while she was still nude i guess he got a eye full.this didn't make her feel very safe.when we returned home we found out that we were charged for the two rooms that we put on our points.they told us that it would take three days to get our money back. we spend a lot of money at Terrible, between our race team and family. i just think that something needs to be done before more customer get fed up with the service
