Got this case (Targus Platinum Deluxe) for my Gateway 450 computer. It was a little weird ordering something I only could see on a monitor screen, but I've had terrific experience with Gateway and if I don't like something, they are happy to take it back and offer a comparable replacement. Well, I didn't need to send this case back! Wow! Not too big, not too small... in other words, it's just about perfect. I fits the computer, a zillion accessories, cords, cables, steel notebook lock, disks, disk drives, instruction manuals, extra battery, surge suppressor, mini-mouse, the whole thing! And, it looks neat and organized to boot! Made of really rugged nylon with steel reinforcement, its perfect for the road warrior and casual meeting-goer. Highly recommended.

Pros: Sturdy construction, plenty of storage for large laptops.

I have been shopping for a case for my 15.4 inch screen Toshiba for over a month now. When the laptop was new, I purchased a Sumdex large screen inner case. The Targus is a perfect fit for the combination, with sleeve installed over the computer, it's 14 3/4 inches wide by 11 1/4 inches deep, fitting perfectly into the Targus with a space of 2 inches left on one side. The charger and cables fit into that area.

There is ample room atop the sleeve to carry my Laptop Desk and Mouse Pad when they are folded, and I still have plenty of room for papers, an optical mouse, and a lock. I'm very impressed at the amount of storage this case provides for the compact size. The materials used to construct it are excellent quality and it is normally listed for $59.99 at the local Best Buy. This week they are selling it for $39.99, and to me it's the laptop case buy of the year.
