Pros: No major performance problems, generous 15" monitor, intuitive touchpad, ideal for gaming, ample HD space Cons: Monitor tires eyes, a bit heavy, not suitable for DVD movie watching
I purchased the Sony Vaio GR370 a month ago and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. After much use, I have found that the laptop has been far more than adequate for my daily use.
Pros: Screen brightness, durability, dual battery support Cons: smallish hard drive, expensive to repair/upgrade (as with any laptop)
I've been using my Sony GR for almost 4 years now and it's still serving me well. For anyone looking to buy one used I highly recommend it. I am a student in college and the laptop is in class with me almost every day. Despite a hard life, it has held ...
Pros: Very good display. Good hard drive capacity. Combo drive included Cons: Average battery life. Could have had a more impressive software bundle.
We were looking for a notebook computer simply because we wanted to be able to move it from room to room in the house. Once we decided on a price range, it was obvious that we would not find a better hardware package than the Sony.
The carton...
Pros: Nice size hard drive. 15 in monitor. Pretty fast Cons: Low battery life. Not for the sound editor. Low sound quality.
Sony Vaio GR370
I bought my Sony Vaio GR370 about 10 months ago and since then have really enjoyed the overall performance of this machine. The 15" monitor is more than enough to satisfy your eyes. It comes with all the standard...
Pros: Sleek Design, Nice 15" Screen, Comfortable Keyboard Cons: Bad Battery Life, Hard Drive problems
The Sony Vaio GR370 is a GREAT desktop replacement, but it has some limitations. First of all, it has a wonderful screen, but a loud keyboard. Secondly, it has a sleek design, but scratches easily. Third, it has a HORRIBLE hard drive, and battery. But most of all, it is a multimedia powerhouse for the average person.
Pros: Durable, robust, trouble-free. Cons: I should have ordered it with a larger hard drive, but who knew back then.
I have had my VAIO for 4 years. It is hands down the best computer (laptop or desktop) I have ever owned. No problems whatsoever. I run it as a laptop at home, but in the office I hook up a wireless keyboard, a USB mouse, and 21 inch flatpanel screen (I do a lot of CAD work). I love it. I'm getting ready to add some RAM and put in a larger hard drive to carry me through the next four years.
