Pros: Great unit. Perfect for a writer Cons: Front panel might have larger 'rec' indicator

Pros: good sound quality, small, easily to operate Cons: price
I need to record meetings and interviews and keep the recordings for a long time. The digital format allows me to keep things on disk instead of piles of tape. I finally bit the bullet and decided to go digital.
Pros: It does everything it says it will. It's easy to operate. The sound is great. Cons: Title won't transfer. No diplay of titals. the earfone jack quit working .
The prices vary. the lowest Ive found for a new one is $118.oo. It is easy to use and easy to figure out. The jump ahead 30 second thing is super. Like no other i have found.Even on the other sony recorders. that makes it a breeze to zip past comercial....

Pros: connection to computer, durability, light weight, ease of filing and recording Cons: price, record button next to mic
Excellent for my purposes. I commonly keep the recorder in my shirt pocket under usually a jacket and overcoat. Even using the mic on low-sensitivity, I can record my voice notes with clarity. Only drawback: it is very difficult not to give off a fumbling noise when you stop recording. The record button is right next to the mic, and it seems that pressing the button at all makes a sound.
