Cons: Sony proprietary memory sticks, lack of carrying strap, placement of infra-red window.

First I wanted to buy Sony 120BT, but it was out of stock. I decided to order PC115 which has the same feature as 120BT, except no Bluetooth. Sony PC115 is high end camcorder in the market now with 1.55 picture quantity. It is easy to set up desktop on LCD screen like Palm or laptop. Don't think to find USA warranty in ONLINE stores. They all have "Made in Japan" model without USA warranty card, but you still do register online. SO why you care for the warranty if it works pretty good/cheap and you take it good care.

It is a good digital camera and a good camcorder too. Nice instruction manual. It is easy to handle. Very good quality pictures can be taken (in low lights too). Software (like "Pixela") is not supplied to transfer data from Minidv to computer using USB port. SO use iLink cable (4 pin to 4 pin, price 40$) to transfer data from MINIDV to computer. ILink cable is not supplied with this pkg. You can use USB port to transfer data from memory stick only. It's a good product to buy but little costly.

Ultimate model among all camcorders. I think this is the best either in quality, look wise or features wise

SONY-DCR PC-115 has three modes as vcr, camera, picture mode. picture mode may be the AV/C Camera mode. Camera mode is not still camera mode but it is other kinds of vcr mode, But I couldn't find picture mode. Could any one one tell me.
