I purchased this receiver on sale for $220cnd in 2003, it was not the flagship of Sony's at the time bud it did offer some nice features such as text display witch shows you the name of the song that is playing and a 7 band equalizer witch was pretty cool, a nice touch for wanting the perfect sound coming outta you speaker. The remote give you nice feel of owning a sophisticated deck. Great bang for you buck and great for a starter Deck if you wanna upgrade from stock.

Ok...I know that this may sound like a little old man wrote this, but...I like to be able to look over and see what time it is on my car stereo. It might not be that much effort to slightly turn my wrist, while my right hand grips the steering wheel, to see my wristwatch.

I also hate the red, eye irritating display. Good lord but that feature is awful. I must say though, that this unit came with the new/used car I bought, and was a big step up technologically from the almost antique radio that I had in my old pick up.

Boy, I miss the old push button radios that had an on/off switch, tuning dial and a clock. I digress. I hate this stereo.
