The Windows Mobile killer!

by MrKaos12 , Jul 09 '08
Pros: Battery life, crisp screen, stability of BlackBerry OS
Cons: Price?
I've always been intrigued by the PDA + phone aspect of phones like the BlackBerry, Dash, Wing, iPhone etc. My first foray into that scene was not a good one. I happily purchased the HTC Dash and when I started using it, I found it slow, cumbersome, ...

Cons: A little larger than regular phones
I am a first time Blackberry user and have been using the Blackberry Curve 8320 through TMobile for approx. 2 months now. Here's my view on it: Set up was very easy. Since using a Blackberry was new to me, I called techsupport. As usual, they were ...

Pretty Close to Perfect

by ashengrey , Nov 23 '08
Pros: Long battery life, crisp screen, very good email service, awesome speakerphone
Cons: Lousy web browser, slow internet connectivity, broken chat client.
I was offered a Blackberry Curve from T-Mobile as a retention option after I had received three defective HTC Dash phones back-to-back. My top priority was being able to send and recieve email on multiple accounts from verious types of mail systems. I ...

Jack of all, master of none, wait until technology evolves

by cophoto , Feb 27 '08
Pros: Size, Included Maps, variety of abilities
Cons: Can't do any one thing well, many extra purchases needed to use all abilities
I've been using the Blackberry 8320 Curve for about 6 months now. I purchased it for $210 directly through T-Mobile by placing the order over the phone instead of a retail store. Even when ordering directly, some negotiation is possible if you've been a ...

by user_abby , Aug 03 '08
Pros: size and sleak look, easy to use qwerty keyboard, wifi ability
Cons: can't record videos, no 3g support, extra charge for web browsing and email client.
I bought my T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8320 in Color: Titanium, after reading some exellent reviews around the web about it. I was just a tiny bit disappointed though. Overall it is definitely a pretty good smartphone, Size: the size is excellent ...

Blackberry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile - Let the addiction begin!

by suziamo , Sep 26 '07
Pros: Very easy keyboard and one-handed typing, fun + PDA features, good user interface and size
Cons: Have to send voice notes as MMS. No option to save them. No video recording
Update: late Oct 07 I can't imagine life before this Blackberry. It is so usable even my low-tech friends can use it without any help. Today someone emailed me a short MP3. I was able to listen to it on the Blackberry and save it with 1 click as a ...

Better than Average Smartphone

by cestvrai , Nov 12 '08
Pros: Good email access and easy format.
Sleek, light design.
Easy-to-use Qwerty keyboard.
Cons: Slow web browser.
Short battery life.
I got the Blackberry Curve 8320 for $75 when I signed up for a new 2-year T-Mobile contract late last year.  It was a great deal at the time until I realized how terrible T-Mobile service is in Manhattan and Brooklyn (see my T-mobile review).  ...

The "phone" part of the phone is not very good

by rantrod , Dec 27 '07
Pros: Everything other than the audio: It's beautiful, compact, really easy to use interface, etc.
Cons: The audio quality: both sending and receiving as well as through speakerphone.
This phone is absolutely great at everything except being a phone. The audio is very poor quality. I think it's funny how you can walk to any store and every phone tells you how many pixel that camera has, but no phone tells you how good it sounds or ...

Wifi phone the cheap way!

by kidepinion , Dec 08 '08
Pros: WiFi with out contract! Takes sd-micro for mp3& somevideo, "uma" uses no minitues
Cons: Youtube and other streaming scripts dont work. Use tinytube.com. Wifi range 20-60 feet.
IMPORTANT: THE PHONE SAYS WIFI ON THE TOP PANEL RIGHT CORNER! When you get your contract and they get you for 2 years (p.s. Sprint just got sued for cell phone slavery contracts in California and lost.) Reduce your minutes!!!!! You will not be using them ...

One Sweet Berry.

by zwei_2 , Aug 03 '08
Pros: amazing smartphone, lots of features, excellent display
Cons: low memory, 3 color options
I've been using a RAZR for 2 years before deciding to upgrade to a phone that had a bit more bang for it's buck. The display on this phone is phenomenal and the keyboard layout is easy to use for the most part. One of the small downsides is that some ...

Pros: Decent camera
mp3 function works great
battery life is great
many applicataions available
phonebook app is great
Cons: cannot make videos
no built in GPS
Headphones stopped working after 1 week
reputation for FAILING UNEXPECTEDLY
All of the previous reviews of the phone are correct, however the don't cover ALL aspects of the phone. I paid 260$ for this phone for a 1 year trip to China. I worked great, and was alot of fun. Then I found out little annoyances. The T-mobile version ...

The great assistant : RIM Blackberry 8320 Curve
by gorgortortor ,Sep 08 '08
Pros:

Offering the best functionality and comfort in mobility

Cons:

GPS functions

This device is really a good assistant when you are mobile.
You can easily write e-mails with full qwerty keyboard.
You are connected to your mailbox in all times.
It is easy to organize your activities with calender option.

With Google Maps software (you need to install it) it is easy to discover on the map where you are.

With its Trackball which is my favorite, you can surf internet easily, use menu items easily, perform every operations aesily and only with one hand.

Just install Gmail, Viigo rss reader, Google Maps. All these are free software that can offer you better mobility .

It is easy to download lots of poliphonic tones from internet. Also RIM offers to its users some free melodies, themes, wallpapers and etc.

It’s packed with features, including a camera, media player, Wi-Fi capabilities, expandable memory, Voice Dialing, BlackBerry Maps and trackball navigation. Plus, you get all the core functionality you’ve come to expect in a BlackBerry smartphone—email and text messaging, instant messaging, web browser and advanced phone functionality.

WiFi is hard on battery life, and as a result, the 8320's battery life is shorter. The BlackBerry 8320 lasts about 2 days on a charge with moderate use.

Nice Blackberry, OK phone, not great Hotspot@Home
by davidhaile ,Jul 08 '08
Pros: Nice Crackberry works well for email and OK for phone.
Cons: You still have to deal with a cell phone company and sign your life away.
I can't live without this Blackberry now that I've had it about a month. The email was easy to setup, easy to integrate with Outlook, works almost instantly. I paid only $50 for the phone plus $60/month for 300 anytime minutes plus free myFaves and anytime the phone is connected via WiFi all calls are free. The RadioShack kiosk at Sams Club is a ton cheaper than any other way to get this phone. It works well.

The problem is that dam HotSpot@home. It has been 10 days and still isn't converted over to VOIP on my house phone. The communications between Qwest and T-Mobile is impossible. Don't do it! I regret that decision, though I'll be OK with it Once It Works!

The T-Mobile wireless router isn't great either. It doesn't have great range. My Qwest router is much better.
