Pros: Turns TV on and off and changes channel.
Cons: Not so universal even if Product is listed.

The following applies to the compatibility with a Panasonic TV model CT31G10T and Teac audio/Home theater reciever.

Will not change input medium, Return Channel button will not work, Will not work at all with Teac AGV-3020 Stero/Home theater...

Pros: Instructions were easy to follow.
Cons: Codes provided did not work with equipment

Bought this thinking that I could shelve 3 other remotes for my HD home theater system. Worked with my Samsung HD tv, but wouldn't touch my Toshiba HD satellite receiver. Neither of 2 codes provided worked. With my Yamaha surround sound system, 1 code would only turn the system off, but would not turn it back on and the other code would control the volume OK, but would not turn the system off. Worst of all, help telephone line only provided auto attendant info and would not allow a live body to help. No info on code problems on auto attendant. Save your money. BR, Maine

Pros: Pros: Easy Programming 4 learn buttons Comparable to units at twice the price
Cons: Cons: Battery life is short and will require reprogramming if batteries die.

After becoming accustomed to the "learn" process I was able to program the control for tv, vcr, and audio equipment. Each application enables you to learn for that device.
