I have been a big fan of DVRs since I installed my Panasonic ReplyTV. Most of my friends have TIVO and pay yearly fees, since I got an older model of Panasonic's DVR, there were no yearly fees involved. It works just like my friends TIVO except its slower navigating the TV GUIDE menus.
