Pros: Great coverage, looks natural, SPF Cons: Inconvenient for touchups
I was very unsure about purchasing the MAC Studio Stick Foundation SPF 15. I had good luck with the M
AC
Studio Fix Foundation and was not sure that changing products was a good idea. I decided to take the plunge and ...

Pros: Extremely natural texture, appearance. Maximum control. Travel friendly. Eliminates foundation brush, concealer, Sunblock. Cons: Not for oily skin. Doesn't mix with moisturizers. I go through sticks faster than bottles.
I introduced MAC Studio Stick to my make up routine with great success. I had previously been a long term, loyal user of Prescriptives Virtual Skin, but I'd been using that for several years and I noticed it didn't work with my skin as well as it once ...

Pros: Great buildable coverage, nice texture, convenient packaging Cons: Price, can contribute to oiliness
I have tried every MAC foundation that is available and the Studio Stick is my favorite. That is not to say it is without fault. However, if I were to start using MAC foundation again the Studio Stick is the one I'd reach to first. ...

Yuck!
by makeupang ,Oct 30 '05
Pros: none Cons: overall gross
This is like putting mud on your face. This has the heaviest coverage I have ever seen with a foundation. It also has weird black granules in it. They might be sunscreen, but they feel like sand on your face.

Pros: best coverage i had ever found, matched skin perfectly Cons: broke out my face like crazy for almost $30
when i first bought this i was so amazed. it worked so well and i loved the way my not-so-perfect skin looked absoultely perfect after applying it. however it took me 1 & 1/2 tubes of it later to realize that it was actually breaking me out more and within a week after i stopped using it my skin was back to normal. oh well!

Not for Oily Skin
by eeiawh ,Mar 08 '05
Pros: good coverage and not cakey Cons: did not last long on my skin
I have very oily skin with some blemishes. I went to my local MAC counter and they recommended the studio stick foundation. At first I thought it was great it went on really easy with the foundation brush and gave great coverage without looking cakey. However after a few hours it just ran off my face. I think this foundation would be great if you have normal or dry skin but for those with oily skin stay clear

Pros: Works well with MAC Oil Control Lotion underneath Cons: none
I have very oily skin and problems with foundation breaking up and basically sliding off my face after a few hours. I usually have to blot and apply powder several times a day. However, when I use MAC Oil Control lotion under a light layer of Studio Stick (applied with a MAC foundation brush) it works wonderfully! I MAYBE have to blot & powder only once a day. One day while looking at some of the recent new foundations at the MAC counter, the rep told me I didn't need foundation since I already had nice skin. I was wearing the Studio Stick at the time!
