Well, I used the medium-deep lotion and was shocked to discover it smells nice, doesn't stain clothes and looks fantastic. My skin is very fair and everyone at work was convinced I'd been in the tanning bed.
After running, I discovered splotches where I had sweat; therefore, the ocean is not a good idea to take this self-tanner. It didn't come off after using a loofah or showering and it can last up to 4 or 5 days. Easy to apply, has yet to turn anything orange, including my palms.

Pros: Great shade of bronze. Easy to apply. No Streaks. Affordable.
Cons: Not-so-pleasant scent. A bit drying to the skin.

My experience with this product was positive. I bought this product because it was affordable & I liked the way the name had "bronze" in it, along with self-tanner. I thought it would look more natural if it was a "bronze". Fortunately, it did look very natural! I love the way the gel glides on so evenly without streaks and the color is so natural and warm. On the down side, I did feel as though it was a bit drying to my skin and the scent wasn't the most pleasant.

Pros: Excellent Color. No streaking. Affordable.

This was the second self-tanning lotion that I've tried and I'd highly recommend it. It's easy to apply... glides on smooth and a little goes a long way. It's tinted bronze so you can see exactly where it's been applied and you can see where you've put too much so you can even it out before it dries - so NO streaking.

The smell isn't great but not bad. The drying time is a bit of a pain but well worth the wait!

Cons: clogs pores, horrible odor later in the day, does not fade well

I have tried several products, and although this one works well, the side effects were enough to make me stop using it. The color you get from this product is wonderful - very natural and great tones. And while the odor when you apply it is not offensive, the way you will smell later in the day is. It seems to block your pores and the only thing I could smell all day was the tanner, which no longer smell good. Although i waited at least 10 minutes to dress, my bras always had discoloration. When I stopped applying it, it "cracked" - made the skin look blotchy - imagine the cracks you see in the desert and that's how my legs appeared. I tried the face product, and my pores were immediately clogged, causing a dreaded breakout, and the color did not stay.

I love this stuff , but....... i put too much on , now all splotchy and can't seem to even it out , so how do i get this off and start over ? any suggestions ?

I am an avid tanner, and have tried different self tanners, but didn't like the results I got from them. I have to say that this one is really good. I followed the directions on the back, and exfoliated my skin before I applied the tanning gelee, and I have awesome results. It dried in about 10 minutes, and I do not have any streaks or discolored areas at all. Also, it did not turn my skin orange (a big plus!) The scent was not bad either, but I applied it right before bed, and by morning, any odor that was there, was gone. The color I got from it was amazing! We went to a family get together the next day, and everyone was saying how nice my tan looked, and wanted to compare. I have always tanned in a bed during the cold months, but I know that it is not the greatest method for my skin, so I decided to try this, and am very happy, and will continue to use it.

Pros: COLOR!!! No Oompa-loompa orange. Nearly mistake proof. Accessible...local drugstores. Inexpensive considering the Great results.
Cons: Usual suspects but drastically minimized. Smell, drying time. Patience is a virtue.

This is the best color I have achieved w/ a self-tanner. Let's face it...Self-tanning products are not the sun! As with any self tanner you will have the usual suspects:
Odd smell, streaking (due to application errors), and drying time. But this product was minimal in all these areas. It had a slightly weird odor...not too bad. MINIMAL streaking that was fixed w/ another application. Then the drying time. Let's face it...who wants to stand around in the bathroom naked waiting for a product to dry. How do you explain that, especially if you have 1 bathroom and a family of 3 or more? Well, I really didn't wait that long...about 15 mins, while I did my hair.

I never exfoliate(I'm lazy)
I applied the product 3 times before I reached my desired color.(It looks really great)
I did not apply to my face. (I have makeup for that and this IS a tanner for your BODY)
I have a light to medium skintone.
I always breakout from products and I HAD NO BLEMISHES from this product.

Pros: Great color, looks totally natural, dries fast, made my skin soft, no streaks at all
Cons: It stinks!!!!!! I hate putting this stuff on AFTER a shower.

I just love this stuff. I have tried so many other sunless tanning products which all went into the trash. I tried the toweletts, and this product came with it free. I wasn't crazy about the toweletts, but I tried the gel and fell in love. This is a wonderful product for me as it takes me forever to tan in the summer and this gives me just enough color to make it look like I tan well.

Pros: good smell, ok/good color
Cons: sticky,icky, icky!!

This was not a great st'er. Very sticky and took a long time to try. Color was ok/good. But do not apply if you need to get dressed in a hurry!! Your cloths will stick to you!! Smell is nice though!
