Pros: Great software bundle, manual focus option, Simple to use. Unique design. Cons: Doesn't produce the best low-light images. Top heavy. Only works when connected to PC.
Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000

Pros: A snap to set up; high quality software bundle; good imaging device! Cons: Software is a bit boggy on system resources if you don't have a newer model.
The first thing I noticed about the Logitech 3000 is the black "visor helmet" on its orb (not pictured above), which slides up and down in front of the lens like a privacy screen. It's really a lenscap. But it makes the device look something like...

Pros: Sleek style, easy to use, USB, and decent image. Cons: Hard to control webcam angle (weak neck syndrome).
Remember the last time you meet up with relatives or friends that haven't seen you for a couple of years? What is the first thing they say? "Hey! You've put on some weights!" Well, no I have not, it's just that you haven't seen me for so long ...

Pros: Easy to install, fool proof operation Cons: Cord is long, software bundle cheesy, mic is sub standard
The Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000 is one of the best webcams for the price available. If you’re into basic webcam conferencing with friends and family this is the camera for you. I have the USB version which is much better then serial port webcams. Its ...

Pros: High quality picture, also works as digital still and video camera Cons: Annoying cable, price
I bought this little camera about 9 months ago so that I would have a webcam when chatting on Yahoo! Messenger. There are several companies out there that make webcams, and the price ranges from under $30 to over $100. In my research and with my own...

Pros: Quality picture, good color, adjustable lens, built-in sound Cons: Base is a bit weak and flimsy
After realizing that flights were just too expensive on a regular basis, I looked for an alternative that was better than the phone and had more of a "personal" touch.
5 years ago I discovered the Internet Phone, but found it was not really...

Pros: -Takes good pictures for a Web Cam, Price really isnt that bad Cons: Bad low light pictures, pictures arent good quality to be printed
I first picked up my LogiTech QuickCam Pro 3000 mainly because I wanted to try a webcam out. I thought $99 TAX wasnt that bad so I picked one up. But enough of that let's get straight to the details.
Pro's:
Mine came with 2...

Pros: great pics in great light, nice software, easy to use Cons: poor pics in low light, orb topheavy b/c of long cord, no clip on base
I've long been a fan of Logitech keyboards, mice, and cameras, so when I was in the market for a webcam, I defaulted to picking a Logitech model - there is no other option, as far as I'm concerned. I first used this camera with my Mac G4 Graphite ...

Pros: Easy Set up, Works well in most lighting situations Cons: Pricey
I decided to join the "camming" masses about three months ago and selected the QuickCam Pro after looking at several options. I have to say it was a good choice. It was a joy to set up - the manual walked you through the set and I had no glitches setting...

Pros: great picture, Cons: Camera Stand, Software
The webcam does a good job for what it is billed to do. If you have a lot of light the picture it sends over the net is really superior to a lot of webcams out there. But put it in a dimly lit room and you will notice the difference. I had it two room...

Pros: Long cord, sturdy base, great quality daytime pictures and videos, very clear sound. Cons: Monitor clamp is hard to adjust, nighttime pictures and videos look horrible.
The Logitech Pro 3000 camera is a very good webcam. I bought it in March of 2001 for $179 CDN and it still is going strong. It's very easy to use, especially with Windows XP. You don't even need the packaged Quickcam software with it if you want to ...

Pros: Fast frames per second, handy screen clip, good performance in the dark, software. Cons: Sometimes top heavy.
This is a fantastic web camera. The ease of use as well as the software it comes with make it one of the best buys around. Some of the software is fun to play around with as well, so children will enjoy it. The software also offers some other options...

Pros: easy to use, very sharp quality video Cons: can't think of any except must install on XP otherwise tons of errors
I have been a quickcam user for a number of years- first the grayscale, then the quickcam II, quickcam pro, and now the pro 3000. A few weeks ago, I found a wholesaler who was selling this cam for $40 so I jumped at it.
Well, as soon as I...
