Cons: The lid is quite heavy and can fall on those little toes.

It does hold a lot of toys but so do a lot of other toy chests that may not be so heavy. I have to open the chest for my daughter, which defeats the purpose of the chest. It can also close on its own and can either hurt or really surprise the child....

This toy box is just great. I went through 7 toy boxes over the years and since purchasing this a few years ago, I have not had to worry about that again. It is spacious and comes in colors for a boy or girl. It is extremely durable. I do not use the dividers. My youngest children like to take the toys out and use it for a hiding spot while playing hide'n'seek. It is safe because it can be opened easily from the inside. There are no sharp corners and can withstand numerous jumps onto it. It hold a ton of toys, far more than others I have had. For the price the quality is wonderful. Little tykes has proven to me again and again why I Trust this company when choosing products for my kids.
