Pros: Sound quality, price, comfort, uniquely effective earclip design Cons: Somewhat difficult to put on
Koss' KSC35 Headphones are small, lightweight portable headphones perfect for active user with mp3 players, cd players, and other low powered portable audio devices. Since their introduction, Koss KSC35's blend of portability, comfort, sound...
Pros: great sound, unique looks, quality, warranty Cons: discontinued, hard to find
I bought the Koss KSC35 to replace the crummy headphones that came with my Sony D-EJ815 CD Walkman. Ideally, I would use this CD player with my Grado SR60 headphones, but they really aren't very practical for lugging around town. So I set out in search ...
Pros: Good overall sound quality, great comfort, doesn't fall off the ears Cons: Discontinued; hard to find new
This is a legendary portable headphone (it was the first earclip-type headphone model ever marketed) that is, unfortunately, discontinued. I have a pair of its successor model, the KSC-50, which sounds alright, but fits too loosely on my ears. So, out of...
Pros: Overall value, portability, weight, SOUND Cons: Bass slightly excessive; clip-on design takes a little while to get used to...
Overall, this is the best overall value, IMO, for a portable headphone. Small and lightweight, the KSC-35s also sound better than any of their competitors, including the S/Portapros. They have slighted bloated bass, the kind that gives me headaches. The...
They didnt block out subway noises or street noises. Bass was barely discernible and treble was very high. The most likely culprit of the poor sound quality was that the ear clips didnt fit properly. They were one size fits all. I have small ears and could never get the clips to stay put and my ears would get sore after 10 minutes of wear. Another problem with fit was that the clips that went behind the ears constantly got caught on my earrings and pulled one of my plugs out which was quite painful. I read other reviews that the fit takes some time to get used to so to give these the benefit of the doubt I used them for a month, 5 days a week for about 30 minutes per day. Needless to say I never got used to the fit and they were constantly falling off. I would not recommend these to anyone with a lot of piercings in their ears or with small ears.

Pros: Lightweight; great sound! Cons: A bit uncomfortable for the first week or so.
First, let me say that these headphones really really rock! That being said, the only problem is that the plastic clip that goes behind your ear to hold them on is a bit uncomfortable at first. After a week or so of using the headphones, it kinda "breaks in" and becomes very comfortable. This is because they loosen up a bit and your ears get used to having them on. I can wear them for at least 7 hours before they start to become uncomfortable. Some people may find that the styling is a bit too retro for them, but I like it.
The sound of these is AWESOME. The bass is really deep and rich. Very surprising for such light headphones. The rest of the sound is good for anyone short of an audiophile.
I keep them in my coat pocket with my iPod, and so far they have held up amazingly well. If they ever break, I will definitely buy another pair, because they are by far my favorite headphones.
