Pros: Extremely efficient, sound more expensive than they actually are Cons: Need to be broken in. Any color you want as long as it's black.
My introduction to Klipsch speakers came by way of auditioning a pair of SB-2's (review coming soon!), and I was absolutely astonished by the huge sound coming from the little boxes. This led to a total rethinking of my entire speaker system, which is...
Pros: Imaging, Highs, Mids, Bass.. Cons: Grill is fragile
So I came across the horn tweeters in my pioneer 6.75" in my car and though the highs were amazing. So I went looking for a good set of Klipsch speakers. Bookshelves just weren't going to be able to cover all my music tastes, from rock, to acoustic, to...
Pros: Efficiency, sound staging, bass response, price Cons: Only comes in black, no floor spikes
These are fantastic speakers! The real deal. I have been an audiophile for years and have had McIntosh electronics and B&W speakers for most of my life. I sold it all due to the thought of having $10,000 wrapped up in a system and recently decided to...
After my Boston Acoustics A70s bit the dust after 18 years, it was time to go on the arduous task of finding new speakers. Everyone said Bose. I went to two major electronic stores. The salesman at the first one said Bose were the best so I bought them. ...
Pros: Good rich sound, extremely efficient. Cons: None that I can see.
I purchased the SF-2 over the more expensive Klipsch Towers because of their rich sound, I'm not sorry on my choice. For my money, it was well spent. The towers have good clean lines, attractive even. They look and sound like more expensive speakers....
Great sound without breaking the bank by dano104 ,Oct 28 '05
Pros: Extremely clean and crisp Mids and Highs. Very attractive speaker, with solid construction. Cons: Only color available is black. They leave a little to be desired bass wise
I purchased these speakers in Germany in 2000, they have been across the world and have lived in at least 5 different states. They still sound as great as when I purchased them.
None Better For The Money by truckguygmc23 ,Dec 03 '04
Pros: Price, Quality, Looks (As Long As You Like Black) Cons: None in this price range
This is a great speaker in the $400-$500 price range. Crystal clear highs and nice lows produce a very clean sound. Make sure to match these speakers up with a "punchy" sub and not one too boomy. Actually for two 6.5" woofers they do create very good bass response on their own for music. I am running a Denon AVR-2105 with these and a Infinity PS-12 subwoofer and they match up beautifully.
Same great sound after 3 years of use by kalnrs ,Sep 23 '03
Pros: Clear, crisp sound at all volumes; durable; and cabinets are easy to wipe clean. Cons: Speakers are large and noticeable.
I bought the speakers more than 3 years ago and have used them for at least 4 hours a day. They still sound great, the cabinets are still sturdy, and I would definitely buy them again.
I originally purchased the sf-1... by gregg_dt3000 ,Oct 03 '02
I originally purchased the sf-1 which lacked adequate midrange. So I picked up a pair of Paradigm monitor 7's. The Monitor 7's had absolutely beautiful midrange and high freq but had flat bass. So the solution was the klipsch sf-2 which carried good midrange and very solid punchy base. The only draw back I have found is the intensity of the treble from the klipsch speakers. It is clear and crisp but with some music types can be overwhelming. This can easily be overcome by damping the treble on any quality receiver.
These speakers are the best speakers I have ever listened too for the money! They sound great with any type of music. The bass is punchy and the mids & highs are very clear. Great for Jazz, Rock, R&B, Classical
