Pros: Powerful bass, 5 matched speakers, dual drivers and tweeter on surround, wonderful for movies Cons: Have to purchase extra speaker separately for 6.1 system, higher frequencies not as accurate
This surround system offers the best bang for the buck in the sub-$500 surround speaker category.
I originally looked at the SCS135, but for only $100 more you can buy the SCS150 system. Both were on display at Best Buy. The difference in...
Pros: Incredible Bass from the subwoofer Cons: The wall mounts did not provide enough stability.
I wanted to find a good quality set of speakers that were not an in the box complete system (meaning with DVD player and reciever) In my eyes JBL has an excellent reputation, so I putchased the SCS-150 speakers. I have not one single complaint from the...
Pros: Clear sound, awesome bass range Cons: may be too powerful for an apartment (neighbors)
I purchased the JBL SCS 150SI in Jan. 2003. I have a 53" HDTV so I just needed the sound to go with it. Wow! This system blew my mind. I was so happy that I spent a few extra dollars instead of settling for something less. I got it at Best Buy and...
Excellent product for low price by legeboka ,Oct 03 '03
Pros: Power,Sound,Price Cons: Subwoofer size
Love it. A lot of power. Sound crisp and clean. Subwoofer generates amazing low frequencies. Comes with brackets for front and rear speakers. Sony speakers that I bought 3 years ago not even close in comparison with this set. I'm very positive that It will be very difficult (if possible) to find same quality speakers for same amount of money. Highly recommend.
Pros: tiny speakers
small sub
Best name for the dollar Cons: you cant hear the music a block away.
Lets face facts. Your paying under 300 dollars. Its affordable THX sound. Its loud enough to hear every detail in a medium size room. Its not the loudest speakers in the world. By far not cheap speakers because they are still JBL the most well known audio equipment in the world. What can anyone complain about. Get them be happy and enjoy a great set up. When you have more money a few years down the road upgrade. For now get a outstanding receiver that will last 10 years. Get these outstanding speakers and a quality DVD player and enjoy these little suckers. The 8 inch sub is more powerful than you think.
