Intel PC Camera Pack
Teach your Computer New Tricks
It is not always necessary to purchase serious hardware like a printer or a scanner for example, at times you can add to your computer an item that can be lots of fun to work with....
Pros: Easy to install and use, good price. Cons: Very basic software. Chunky pictures. Prone to 'locking up'.
Since I wrote this, I've played a lot more with the webcam and things aren't as 'good' as I first thought.
I've always wanted a webcam but they've always been too expensive. When a few of the Intel Easy PC Camera came into work for a discount...
Pros: Inexpensive and easy to use Cons: Missing a few bells and whistles
As a beginner in the realm of webcams, I went to Office Depot looking for something simple. I didn't need the bells and whistles, simply because I wouldn't have known what to do with them. After making sure that the Easy PC Camera would work with my OS...
Pros: super cute look, GREAT photos Cons: hard to focus
I admit, i mainly got this webcam because I thought it looked super cute. It wasn't all boring and blah like most of the webcams I have seen. my old web cam, which was a Logitech wasnt that great. The one by Intel is GREAT. Aside form the cute, sleek...
The intel camera is a great beginners camera. plug and play, great out of the box. Great price, and ease of use. But since it is a beginners camera, it does not have a lot of options and software. But it does have a good picture, and ease of focus and...
Pros: Good Webcam. Cons: Takes half-way decent pictures. Price to high.
This camera is pretty good, but I have not used a lot of them. It has a clear picture if you have a well-lit room or have it pointed outside, to take pictures or to make videos. The base of the camera is like a swivel, it can move up or down. It has a...
Pros: It does the very basics Cons: Most things it does
It works as a typical cheap web cam works... it gets the picture but its that basic... its chunky, blurry it locks up... not only just once and awhile this is every time you use it..
Easy Cam CS110-Good Training Wheels, time to take them off! by chango_si ,Mar 17 '05
Pros: Simple, cheap, a'starter cam' if quality isnt issue. Cons: 3rd rate quality of video/pics No support as Intel quit cam biz!
The Intel Easy Cam product was among cams to be on store shelves over 2yrs ago. $30.00 and it could be had- cheap back then.. not so bad a price now.
The Intel Easy Cam CD isn't worth much- provides a somewhat useful snapshot and video recording utility- Better software is now built into Windows XP computers (Windows Movie Maker) or provided by free from Yahoo, AOL and shareware programmers.
Plug it in and its webcamming on Yahoo, MSN, even AOL (yuck).
Poor picture snapshot quality at 640x480 not much better at lower resolution. Image size, bad focus and issues in normal lighting make for a grainy looking pic or webcam show.
This is a good cam for basic use, as long as you don't care about showing a lot of motion.
You also need to have the scene well lit, it is hard to see anything without plenty of light.
Excellent for a cheap camera. Installation was easy and did not cause problems. (Intel's website supports it also)
I found mine at a computer show for $20 in OEM packaging, with a driver CD.
